Ironwood Kitchen

We like trying new restaurants so we gave this one a go. It is almost cafeteria style, since you order food and drink at the counter and then wait for it to be brought out. We thought it was cute to do it like that. Staff was friendly, no complaints there. We ordered breakfast and did not mind waiting the 22 minutes for the biscuits to be done. Food was tasty, except for the potatoes, which were so oversalted the ocean would be jealous. All you could taste was the salt with a potato aftertaste. Bad. Rest of food was pretty good, bout like you'd find at any mom & pop place. That being said, we went home and within an hour had food poisoning so bad we considered the E.R. It was volatile. I cannot recommend this restaurant, based on oversalted potatoes (we only tried 1 bite each) and the food poisoning. Sorry Ironwood. Not good.

Excellent food, excellent service, good prices, and quick. Nice dining area. Good size portions. Recommend to everyone.
