Cornerstone Christian School

I am a teacher/coach and entering my 16th year in this profession. I have taught advanced science at the middle school level and physics and environmental systems at the high school level. Our son struggled and had low self confidence when he was in 1st grade. The size of his classroom was very large and his teacher was extremely overwhelmed by trying to get several of her students that were low test takers prepared for the Staar test. The lack of assistance, which affected his confidence and performance, along with the exposure of negative aspects that my husband and I tried to protect my son from hearing or learning lead us to look for another school. We found out about Cornerstone through their website. We enrolled him and since then, our son has been a different young man. He has tremendously grown spiritually and is a leader (something I never envisioned when he was in 1st grade) and he excels academically. As a teacher, I'm familiar with the middle school curriculum and was surprised to learn that the curriculum that we taught at public schools were taught 2 grades below at Cornerstone Christian. The teachers go way above and beyond to help their students achieve greatness in every aspect of their lives. Cornerstone has blessed us tremendously in every way. They are like family. A very small setting with a great reward. It was the best decision we could have made for our child's learning and confidence.
