Aspen Dental
They tried to get my wife to do two root canals and two crowns. They also told her she had periodontal disease and needed an expensive antibiotic treatment. She went to a friend of mine who does missions dental work and she told her she only needs one root canal and one crown for now. She also said she doesn't have periodontal disease. She went to my dentist in Lakeland FL today and he confirmed the same. Looks like Aspen Dental are crooks and they seem very nice and professional but looks can be deceiving. Words do not do this post justice. I'll be writing Pam Bondi State Attorney this week.

Claws & Paws Animal Hospital
Took my cat " Chloe Mae" for an issue with holding food down and losing fur.. staff is very friendly, asked a lot of questions, I liked being able to speak directly with the doctor. We have tried other places in town . I was not comfortable with the service I was getting.. I am very impressed with the level of interest they take in my cats health,, prices are reasonable as well.

Butler Larry B DDS
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICEDr. Butler’s office incorrectly billed for my son’s tooth extraction. When my insurance company contacted Dr. Butler’s office to obtain a reversal authorization code and Paula at Dr. Butler’s office refused to provide this information even though she was aware the incorrect extraction code had been paid. When they asked to speak with a manager and Paula stated one was not available but either way did not have the authority to authorize a charge reversal. Paula was very rude and unwilling to help. When I called Paula told me I had no right to call, that she didn't have to talk to me. She was nasty to say the least. They are preventing my child from getting the insurance coverage he needs now because they have incorrectly billed for something that was never done. My son is suffering and his insurance company is willing and ready to resolve this quickly to get him them prompt work he needs on his wisdom teeth. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE

This is the most crooked dentist. She did a bridge on me and I complained to her from the start that it didn't feel right but she kept dismissing it as I would get used to it but I eventually went to another dentist for an x-ray of it and found out that she improperly cemented the bridge leaving an open margin which caused a tooth to decay which would require a root canal and new bridge. She will not honor her bad work. I have heard a lot of the same stories since leaving her. A crooked liar! Beware of those who leave excellent feedback because they were paid to or are friends of her and her staff.

Coast Dental
This place is terrible! She didn't even clean my teeth just used a hook to rip my gums off my teeth and then told me I needed a deep cleaning because my gums were too deep! My gums which never hurt were sore for a week! I wrote a review on their website which they will not show. They only show the good ones that make them look good! Lost all respect!

Dr. Clayton and her staff have always been great to me. They are so friendly, accommodating, and great at their work. I recently had some Crown work done here and they have done such a great job, always making sure I was comfortable and happy with the outcome. I drive here each time from Lutz and it's worth it to be treated so well, rather than a walking wallet at other dentistry practices. Highly recommended in my book.

Planned Pethood
When we discovered planned pet hood, we were dealing with a serious problem with our dog, Yankee, and they were very systematic in figuring out the cause of the problem and they solved it. I especially appreciate the staff. They take extra care allowing us to be in the back with our dog as he get so nervous. The front desk staff is busy but they give individual attention when it's your turn. And the price of the service is super reasonable and they tell me it's because they want everybody, no matter what their life circumstance is, to be able to care for their dog. I don't think that I will ever go anywhere else and would always recommend this place to people

Butler Larry B DDS
Will never go to Dr Butler again. I agree with the previous review that he's abusive. He missed my gums with his needle, stabbed me in the tongue and numbing agent sprayed in my mouth. When I told him he stabbed me in the tongue he told me I needed to calm down or he wasn't doing the procedure. He already had my money so I couldn't do much else! Never ever again.

Tips & Advices
Most 24-hour clinics do not allow owners to stay with their pets overnight. However, many do have specific visiting hours or will let owners see their pets at any point during the day. In addition, owners can call most clinics at any time for an update on their pet's well being.
  • Important phone numbers, especially those of the the veterinary clinic, the animal hospital or emergency clinic, and the poison control center
  • A book detailing pet first-aid steps
  • Copy of medical records
  • Nylon leash
  • Muzzle (only use if pet is not vomiting and has no difficulty breathing)
  • Absorbent gauze
  • Nonlatex disposable gloves
  • Scissors
  • Tweezers
  • Nail clippers
  • Digital thermometer
  • Sterile saline solution
  • Hydrogen peroxide (to induce vomiting only at the recommendation of a veterinarian
  • Milk of magnesia (to absorb poison only at the recommendation of a veterinarian)
Find a 24-hour animal hospital that provides emergency services within your area. Keep the facility's contact information in a place that's easy to locate, such as the refrigerator, address book, or smartphone. Most veterinary clinics operate on standard business hours and are not equipped to handle emergencies.
Veterinary clinics operate on a smaller scale than animal hospitals. The latter are more likely open 24 hours and provide emergency services. The former generally operate on typical office hours and only perform wellness exams and minor surgeries. Veterinary clinics also do not generally perform laboratory tests on site.
The specifics vary depending on the type of visit. For a wellness exam, bring:
  • Medical records
  • The type or brand of food the pet eats
  • Medication (including flea, tick, and heartworm medication).
If the animal needs medical treatment, the following may be helpful depending on the situation:
  • Fresh stool sample
  • Vomit sample
  • Video of the pet engaging in abnormal behavior
  • Substance the pet may have ingested
