Bella Capelli Salone
Carol, the owner of Bella Capelli Salon, in Yuba City, CA., is an amazing hairdresser. She is a perfectionist. She is about the quality of work, rather than the quantity of work. She is more concerned about how her clients look and fell, rather than the number of cuts and colors one can accomplish in a day. Carol spends the time it takes, and is needed to make her clients look fabulous, and when she is finished, there is not a hair out of place. It is her devotion, passion, and enthusiasm for her profession that has built Carol a large, and loyal clientele. I am honored to be one of Carol's customers. They say friends come and go, but family is forever. I say once you find a great hairdresser, they are forever. Carol is more than my hairdresser, she is my friend, and a part of my family.

Luxe Salon Day Spa
The owner of the business, Michelle, is the best massage therapist I have ever been to. Over the years I have tried various therapists locally, in Sacramento, and in the Bay Area but have always come back to her. I have some problems with tension and pain in my back/neck and Michelle knows exactly how to help me, how much pressure to apply and what areas to work on. I have always felt rested and relaxed after the massagesI have also had facials and my skin felt radiant for a long time. The previous review talks about a bad experience with a 300-pounds massage therapist at Luxe Salon. This is not Michelle, who is a petite woman. I have recommended Michelle to my husband and my relatives and friends.

Louie Medina's Hair Productions
I literally got the best haircut ever. Louie is a hair artist and magic with layers!!! I will never go anywhere else. Its SUPER clean and decorated elegantly with the entire wall made of glass, there is always something to entertain you, as if the conversation wasn't entertaining enough. The people here are wonderful and I HIGHLY recommend at least ONE try. AFFORDABLE. I was actually shocked that my amazing haircut was 20 dollars. Thats it. Try it.

Beauty Perfection Salon
I found this salon in Yuba City, and it should be in the Bay Area. It is beautiful, tranquil, with soft music and the service was incredible. Everyone was so nice and very attentive. The salon is decorated for everyones enjoyment, pleasure, and is definately for ladies who enjoy nice things and anyone who loves to be pampered. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, I was not asked to come in and relax, I was INVITED IN! What a treat.

This is a no frills salon, but I don't need to over pay for frills. I recommend Rose. I have thin fine hair and Rose manages to give me a consistenlty good cut that I can manage at home! I don't pay extra for shampoos, etc, just the basic cut. Rose has been good for me thus far. She came recommended by one of the servers at Peach Tree Cafe in Marysville. Rose is worth the drive to Yuba City plus the price can't be beat!

Little Red Hair House
Gerald is amazing, great skill. He did a fantastic job. He is however, way overpriced.I have had cut/color with highlights in Sacramento and have never paid as much as I did here. I was charged $185 for a color/partial highlight and cut. This is WAY overpriced for Yuba City. I was stunned. Had I known I would be charged double what I have ever been charged in this town I would have gotten my hair done elsewhere.

Bella Capelli Salone
My experience at Bella Capelli over my course of hair make-overs has always been wonderful. I started going to this Salon in high school and I have been faithful ever since. Bella Capelli has always left me satisfied no matter what style, cut or color I desired. I love knowing that I can trust my hair dresser while I am in the chair. There is no other Salon like Bella Capelli!

Sergio is who I go to and he does a fantastic job, I wont let anyone else touch my hair. He is a pleasure to look at :-) as well. The other stylist have always been pleasant and helpful when I am there as well.A great place that is affordable and close to home for me. Only thing they don't do that I wish they did is waxing.

Been going to pro cuts for years, probably thirteen years, along with my wife and my father. We don't go anywhere else and have absolutely no reason to do so. Great services at great prices. Rose has built and maintained a great business and by the way,we live in Wheatland, a thirty min. drive and it's worth it!

Studio 622 Salon & Spa
My hairstylist is the best, Pam Clavel! She is very creative and knows what will look fantastic, even if I go in the Salon without any idea on how to cut or color my hair that day. She is someone you can trust to make you look your best!
Tips & Advices
Some pet groomers have viewing areas where owners can sit and watch their pets being treated. Most prevent owners from being in the same room as the pet, however, as the owner's presence might cause the pet to become too excited.
Pets that cannot interact with strangers do not make good professional grooming candidates. Sometimes medication can help, but some groomers don't take animals that have been sedated. If a pet becomes too unruly, a groomer may end the session entirely.
It's best to fully vaccinate pets before bringing them to their first grooming appointment. Dogs should receive the DA2PPC vaccine, which stands for canine distemper, canine andenovirus type 2, canine parvovirus, and parainfluenza. It's also a good idea to vaccinate dogs against Bordedatella (aka “kennel cough”). In fact, New York City requires dogs receive both DAPP and Bordetella shots. Cats, meanwhile, should get the FVRCP vaccine: feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus infection, and panleukopenia. In addition, all pets should be up to date on their rabies shots. Owners should wait at least 24 hours after getting their pet vaccinated before bringing it to the groomers.
Technically, there is no such thing as a pet that is too old for a professional groomer. In fact, older pets with joint or mobility issues often can't groom themselves and need someone else to clean them. However, pets that are blind, deaf, or have serious medical issues might not do well at a groomer, especially if the person is inexperienced. Owners should feel free to ask potential groomers about their understanding of elderly pet issues. Often, older pets will exhibit puppy-like behavior and squirm or yelp during grooming. Alternatively, they might not be able to stand for long periods of time. As such, grooming an older pet usually takes more time than grooming a young one.
Puppies and kittens should be at least 10 weeks old before their first professional grooming session. They should be used to being gently handled by strangers and comfortable being separated from their owners for a few hours at a time.
