Maleks Auto Care
I gave no stars this place is a joke first and for most its all different foreigners that dont speak english except when they say a front desk lady is extremely rude with a attitude shes like Albanian..?..and dont ask why the price is so high she will repeatedly say "do you understand" " understand"!! Omg like excuse me I speak English in your in America do you understand!. Then on top of it not only did he not fix the problem I brought it in for he told me I needed all these other things and charged me for it, what's funny is somebody pulled up complaining about being charged for things I never asked for too so this must be how they're staying in business, I am getting a second opinion from a real mechanic shop do not take your car there I also found two lug nuts that weren't even put back on (sitting in my back seats)... I am extremely disappointed I hope this saves you the trouble because you will be awesome if you take your vehicle.!!!

This place was excellent I just walked in and needed service and they pulled my car in immediately and got to work I'll let them know that I was in a rush kind of but didn't want to be too pushy and they put me first class it's a new business so I wanted to check them out there's really no advertising but the inside was really nice they had Mercedes rims made into a table and tires popping out of the wall with coffee machine and a flat screen TV and chrome rims on the wall it was very nice definitely an experience that you want to see on your own I was very satisfied and I am very picky on who touches my Mercedes.

This guy sold me a car for $1500, after 2 months, I went to change my tires to a different place and magic, everything was wrong with the car, he estimated the fixes in $900, and charged me over $1600 to get it fixed, not on time, not on budget and not correct, no more visits!PS./ The last visit he estimated my fix in additional $100, once done, I gave him my card and charged $400, giving them 1 star because 0 is not available

Fischer Honda is best represented by their recent advertising campaign. The dealership sent out a flyer with a "lottery ticket" glued to the front. You are led to believe that you have won $5000 with your winning combination of triple 7s. The fine print on the inside of the flyer is confusing, deceptive, and misleading...a very good representation of the dealership itself. I especially felt bad for the dozens of people wasting their lunch break thinking they were winner, and it was especially shameful to see one car dealer struggling to explain to an elderly couple why they actually hadn't won the $5000. The dealership knew exactly what they were doing, and this speaks a lot to the management and ownership.Overall, please avoid Fischer Honda dealership in Ypsilanti due to its dishonesty and obvious willingness to waster people's time with deceptive gimmicks. Fischer Honda's facilities are also unimpressive and the selection of cars is minimal. Go 15 minutes further west to Germain Honda in Ann Arbor where the representatives are polite, informative, and honest.

Sam is the man. We were on a cross country trip when two brake lines blew at 3pm. He worked almost two hours after they were supposed to close in order to get us back on the road again! He did a great job and did not try to take advantage of us. Very reasonable prices. Super customer service. We were back on the road in no time thanks to Ann Arbor Auto Care.

Love this place. Bought my second car there a few years ago from Chris. Went in for an Oil Change & pulling into the parking lot my car started chugging and the Check Engine Light came on. Cody from service was nice &helpful. Took my car for repair on Thursday. Stuart was so nice and gave me good advice on my repair questions & options. The prices were great and it was all done with in one day. They have a very nice man driving their shuttle also!

My wife and I just got a new Explorer and the dealer was awesome! Great family run dealer and our salesperson, Chris M was top notch. He answered all of our questions and everything went smoothly! Would go anywhere else!

We had new tie rod ends installed, an alignment performed, and the transmission filter and transmission oil changed on an older model Explorer. The prices were reasonable and the service was incredible. We took it in in the morning, and drove it home that afternoon! Gene Butman Ford's parts and service departments support Ford eCommerce, which is a major advantage for scheduling repairs and getting them done in a timely manner. I don't like having to have my cars fixed, but when I have to, Gene Butman is the place to go.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
