Sipes Dental
I selected Dr. Sipes to deal with an old root canal on one of my front teeth after my normal dentist informed me that any action to save or replace the tooth root would have to be done by a specialist. After a visit to the endodontist, I decided that I wanted any work to be done by a dentist who could do any of the required work, up to and including an implant, without involving any additional specialists. One guy doing it from beginning to end, not several passing me around. My research led me to Dr. Sipes who agreed to do the repair. Great decision on my part!I am so pleased with the resulting implant that Dr. Sipes installed. The new tooth looks and feels better than the original. The doctor's advice relative to treatment options was right on the mark. The procedure was much easier than I would have ever dreamed. The office was fitted with state of the art hardware. The staff was friendly and the appointments were timely. To top it off the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this dentist.

Most awesome dental exam ever! From the Ladies at the front desk to all the staff that performed the work they could not have been any better. Everyone there has a personality and actually connects with you as a human being. As for the Ladies comments about the Dentist, the only thing I saw was a great working relationship where everyone appears to enjoy working together. Honestly I enjoyed my time with these folks. So much so that I think I would have hung out a while longer had they asked LOL. My wife and 4 kids will now be coming to this office!. To often Doctors office's forget we are customers as well as patients. Wellspan could learn a thing or two from this incredible group of people.

Aspen Dental
I succumbed to the TV ads & thought I'd give Aspen Dental a try. Will NOT make that mistake again! Not only was the wait time exceptionally long in the waiting area, but during 1 visit they escorted me back to the exam area and I waited a ridiculous 45 minutes back there! I explained to them that I would have to reschedule due to a doctor's appt. I needed to be at within the next 20 minutes. Just not worth the wait. They had also replaced a crown that I had for several years that had fallen out. I was initially pleased with the work until that crown fell out three (3) times! BEWARE! Be VERY aware!!!!!

Went to Aspen for the first time the other day and I am very pleased with the service I received. I choose aspen because they have great hours. I have long work days and being able to schedule my appointments after work really helps out. I was able to get my cleaning done the same day because the hygienist happened to have an opening due to a cancellation. She was extremely educated and was able to give me a lot of advice on products I could use to help strengthen my teeth. I will remain getting my dental work done there they make me feel very comfortable.

How many people can not read? The other reviews are for a movie theater. Do not trust their reviews if they are not smart enough to review the correct place. The annex does not have ideal hours. In what imaginary world does everyone have the time to go between 7a and 3:30p. Most of us have jobs that reguire us to work those hours. In today's world they should have at least one day open later or Saturday.

Receptionist got me in for emergency right away. I called my office of 12 years and they seemed like they did not care. Dr Dave and the very humorous staff worked well together and exceeded my expectations with nice work on front tooth. Usually do not leave reviews b/c misfits and cry babies need to vent but I was touched that this office helped with my problem ASAP. Clean and very current office.

West Side Dental got me in ASAP for an emergency and I was so impressed I am having all my work and cleanings done there! I am even switching my 13 year old, it is worth the 30 minute drive. The staff always go above and beyond trying to make the best of an uncomfortable situation. Just a stellar dentist office all around and on every level!!

I was an end of day walk-in patient. I am a volunteer fire fighter without insurance. Do not really like dentistry. These guys stayed 45minutes past closing to help me. When I pulled my wallet out to pay he saw my military id and said "you have already paid with your service " I was touched. I'll never forget it. Gary

Stylish office with current vibe and beautiful art everywhere. Great guidance with treatment and procedure. School principal told me many parents rave about the quality and humor...I agree!!! I saw a staff that works well together and no issues with the Doctor. I have been there many times. Tammy

Great customer service and excellent chairside manner. I lived in York all my life and have never experienced personal and genuine care from any medical or dental program like this office. I saw a lot of awards on the wall too. Wellspan could learn a thing or two from this Dental office. Marie
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future

Just a moment...
