I was asked to send my Facebook review again through your website - "Braley & Wellington made changes to my auto insurance policy without letting me know the associated costs. They switched me to a insurance that cost me over $600 a month!!! And the rep is not even responding to my emails???

Goodworks Insurance
I have been a customer with GoodWorks Worcester for 6 years. I recently moved and notified GoodWorks of my change of address in writing. Over the next few weeks I called and left multiple voicemails, each asking for a call back. I received a voicemail today stating that my policy has been cancelled since June 21st. Today is July 14th. When I was finally able to speak with someone on the phone, I was told that my address was never updated and they had been sending termination notices to my old address. GoodWorks made no attempt to contact me by phone or by email. If you are considering GoodWorks, I strongly encourage you to take your business elsewhere. No one from GoodWorks returned my phone calls or voicemails for over a month of me attempting to speak with someone. GoodWorks is a negligent company and I am now paying the price for their incompetent agents and poor customer service.

Some CSR's are friendly and experienced. Wait times are not long and they take care of paperwork and plates. Conveniently across from Worcester DMV. You pay 20% up front in most cases with a new auto policy. They will take any type of drivers. Their premiums are expensive. For high risk drivers ( speeding tickets, maybe an accident or 2) you may be referred to them as MA is really strict & insurance companies don't budge. I had a bad experience- I transferred plates to a new vehicle on the same day I had to renew my policy. The CSR in person told my auto dealer and I that I owed nothing except sales tax and registration fees/$710.00. Then found out a few days later on the phone they waived my deductibles, increasing my premium $500 a yr and I owed $582.00 up front. I will be filing complaint tommorrow with a supervisor. I don't recommend them.

I was thoroughly displeased trying to sign up for business insurance here, the agent didn't answer any of my questions directly, was clearly exhausted (yawning and stretching across the table from me), and when I asked how simple it was to cancel at the end of the application process, realizing I was making a mistake there, she responded telling me that she doubted I'd find a lower premium. If you want the cheapest option, maybe go here, but I'd prefer decent customer support and actual coverage over a low premium.

Mahoney and Obara deserves No stars!!! Mike is a dishonest man chasing a dime. He spits out lies to make a problem go away rather than being honest and dealing with the situation at hand. I highly recommend finding a new agent and if you do leave be sure to check your paperwork because he forgets to cancel your policy and you will continue to get charged. He is impossible to contact once you want out. Very dishonest.
