I had a scheduled 11:30 am appointment an adjustment. I arrived on time and was escorted by the receptionist back to the adjustment table. She asked me to lay face down on the table and a doctor would be with me shorty. I was left there laying face down waiting for the doctor I left after not being seen by the doctor for over 25 minutes. I've never experienced such a unprofessional medical experience! I do not recommend that anyone go here. I hope this post will head off a bad experience for you and your family members.

Cherokee Cardiology
I was seen by DR. Shaw today and had a Nuclear Stress test performed which made me short of breath which I know is normal but what gets my goat when DR. Shah was suppose to be monitoring me he was busy texting on his phone, he is a nice enough man but I will never go back to see him again his texting was more important than my care, all the other people I dealt with were great. My advise for DR. Shah is grow up text on your own time.

Savannah Hills Family Chiropractic
This is the worst office and doctor that you can find in Georgia. I went there for at least 2 months after car accident in august 2014. I nicely to lid doctor Anderson at least 5 times to bill my insurance. After I finished with my visits and my lawyer got all information from Savannah Hils Chiropractic, we find out that I own him a lot of money. When we call office , no one were able to explain why. They just said they are sorry. They didn't know why bill is high. I call my health insurance and find out doctor didn't send bill to them , he wanted money from my lawyer cause that was much faster way to get money and also his bill did not right. I call doctor that give me some poor explanation and didn't even wannna talk to me he told me: IF YOU COME OVER TO DISCUSS BILL I WILL CHARGE YOU FOR MY TIME!. I am going thru all bills with my lawyers this week, cause we know they are wrong.FOR YOUR GOOD AVOID THIS OFFICE. !!!!!

Tips & Advices
This depends on the facility. Patients should call to find out if they'll need a referral from their physician prior to making an appointment.
Aside from hyperbaric oxygen treatment, most wound care centers offer:
  • Debridement: The removal of dead skin and tissue surrounding the wound. This can be done surgically, using a whirlpool bath, syringes, enzymes that dissolve the tissue, or wet dressings that dry on the wound and absorb the dead tissue.
  • Dressing: Wrapping the wound in a protective film, gauze, gel, or foam.
  • Compression stockings: Tight-fitted fabric sheaths that encourage blood flow.
  • Artificial skin: A covering that is applied to the wound for several days as it heals.
  • Ultrasound: The use of sound waves to promote healing.
  • Growth factor therapy: The use of materials naturally produced by the body to encourage quick cell growth.
  • Negative pressure therapy: Creating a vacuum around a wound to encourage faster blood flow to the area.
Depending on where the treatment is administered, hyperbaric oxygen treatment  can cost $100- $1,000. After insurance is applied, patients may have a copay of $10 -$50 or a coinsurance fee of 10 percent to 50 percent.
Most wounds should heal within two to six weeks. An individual should seek chronic wound treatment if a wound has not begun to heal after two weeks or is not completely healed after six.
Most health insurance plans cover wound care. Patients should check with the clinic and their health insurance provider before seeking treatment to be sure.
