Pizza was average, overall I was disappointed. I ordered extra, extra cheese and it came with about the same amount of cheese you'd get at other pizza places normally. Also, I got the "Bye, Bye American Pie" and had the chicken, ham, pineapple on one side. Then sausage, pepperoni and hamburger on the other; with bacon all over. I tasted only one bite of bacon, one bite of sausage and only a couple of pepperoni. They seem to be a bit stingy on cheese and the more expensive meats. They were very generous with the hamburger, which I recommend NOT adding because that's all you'll taste. I will try them again one more time and I hope this was just not one of their best first pizzas.
I tried not to give this a single "star", but couldn't...We went to Pizza 3.14 last night for dinner hoping it was an improvement over Johnny's Pizza - the old occupant of the space. We were tremendously disappointed. Must admit, the new booths and tables gave the illusion that the place had improved, but that was where it ended. When we arrived, there were about 5 other tables of patrons and (3) waitresses - that gave us hope, but it took 15 minutes for us to even be acknowledged after we sat down.As soon as the server came to the table, I informed her that my knife was dirty, she said "I know it's clean, it's just that our dishwaher sucks", then she walked away. 10 minutes later, she brought our drinks, a new set of silverware and took our order of garlic knots, a pizza, a greek side salad, and an order of speaghetti and meatballs, then she left the table without removing the dirty silvereare. 15 minutes later, the salad arrived and 10 minutes later, she brought out the pizza - I then asked "what about the garlic knots and spaghetti that we ordered?". She began to argue that we didn't order anything else - so I asked her to box the pizza and get us the manager. Within moments the manager came over and we explained what occured, she said she would make our order right without so much as an apology - we asked her to just box the pizza so we could leave, she said ok and walked away . Then the server came over and apologized and brought us a box for the pizza. At that point, we were so offended with the absolute lack of anything resembling customer service, we just left.I have to say, this was the very first restaurant I've ever walked out of without even trying the food...

Unstructured and not so good. Clearly good management skills are lacking at this place, (one was just walking around stuffing his face the entire time we were there). While the wait staff is decent, (though a bit messy and inattentive), the management clearly needs to be on the floor supervising them. We walked into a nearly empty restaurant except for the patrons at the bar. Even though it was empty, several of the tables had clearly not been wiped down, including ours. I ordered the calamari. Big mistake, (unless you like it chewy and bland). Even the dipping sauce that came with it was sorry. To me it tasted like underseasoned pizza sauce. How disappointing! Obviously the cook either doesn't like to eat calamari or he just doesn't know how to cook it properly. If you are going to offer a few pieces of calamari on a menu for $8.00, at least train your staff how to cook it properly. This was not my first visit but I can guarantee it will be my last. I came once with family who wanted to try it. The music was was too loud for a good dining experience, but great if you just want to sit there and get drunk). Somebody should inform the management that blaring music, (even from a single performer), is not conducive to table conversation, (something enjoyable when out to dine...). As for the pizza...too chewy. The only thing good about this woodfire pizza joint is watching the wood burn in the ovens.

Very bad experience! Went last Saturday at 7:15 and were told there was a 45 minute wait, so we put our name on the list and walked around town. Came back at 8:00 and no table yet, so we sat at the bar, had a few drinks and waited, and waited, and waited. Finally at 8:40, after checking several times, we were ready to pay for our drinks and get out of there. As we are paying, our table becomes available. We order an appetizer and our meal. Appetizer comes, we eat it and wait some more. Finally, 20 minutes after finishing the appetizer, the waitress comes by to tell us that there are two big parties ahead of our order, but we will be right after them, WHAT! They hadn't EVEN started on our order. I am aggravated and ready to go, but my husband says, lets stick it out. The waitress brings us a complimentary appetizer, so that helped a little. We eat, pay, and leave and it is just after 10:00 pm. Waitress was nice, food was pretty good, but really crappy organization at this place. Will not be back. Price is a little on the high side for the terrible experience we had. Feel like we wasted a whole night and expensive babysitting too!

I visit here often, at least every other week. This is the BEST pizza place I have been to. The food is EXCELLENT!! The staff is warm, friendly, and inviting. The restaurant is always clean, even the bathrooms, which is very important to me. The unfortunate review provided by the woman who said that she would never even visit the restaurant due to an unfortunate telephone conversation seems unfair. I agree that staff should be friendly on the phone, however there is a strong possibility that she may have called during a rush and that it was all hands on deck. If this happened soon after the store opened, it is a possibility that they may have been understaffed until they figured out the correct staffing rhythm for this location. I hope that she doesn't continue to deny herself a Maddio's pizza from one experience on a phone call. That would be unfortunate FOR HER.Everyone should visit the restaurant at least once. You'll see why I am hooked on this pizza. My favorite: Portobello Pesto on wheat crust. AMAZING! NO, I am not an employee. NO, I do not have any personal ties to this restaurant and NO, I am not being paid for this review. I am a real person, providing a real honest review.
