Well, I have to say one thing, THIS PLACE is the best in NYC! I have a brand new Lexus and knowone had this glass in stock! The guys at the Queens location made several calls and located the glass I needed! I was in and out within 2 hours! They billed my ins company with no money out of pocket! I dont understand why one of the reviews stated there was no place to wait ( they have 2 places to wait ) As far as being clean, the offices are BRAND new and spotless! As far as the shop goes it was a repair shop not a restaurant! A+++ all around for this business! WILL ONLY CALL LIBERTY GLASS for my furure needs! THANK YOU!
I agree with BrianC89 and decided not to use Liberty Auto Glass. They have a smug attitude and act as if they're doing me a favor by taking my money. The shop looked filthy and there's no place to sit and wait if you want to. They don't go out of their way to accommodate their customers. I had a cracked windshield. Instead I called my mechanic and he uses Touch of Glass in Brooklyn who came to my mechanic's shop (just 2 blocks from my apt), replaced the glass and was $5. cheaper
Ok, I woke up to a broken window, Gps Stolen, I was upset to wake up to this ! WOW this company made a bad thing into a good thing! Good Price, Good Service, Fast Service in and out with in an hour! Other Local companys told me it take 2 days to order, too busy to do it etc etc.. Once I arrived at the Queens Blvd Location the office is BRIGHT and NEW and they kept their word! Plus I saw 5-6 NYPD cars there getting their windows fixed! They must have the NYPD contract! WOW .. A+++++ All around! Would go back in a minute! These are the Auto GLASS GUYS of NYC! Plus they have a location in NYC! Conveinent!
I have to DISAGREE with the 1st review of this Fabulous Company! I was caught is the HAIL STORM this past summer and when EVERY GLASS shop in the city had NO appointments these guys came through for me! I had 3 CARS that had HAIL DAMAGE and they came to my HOME and installed 2 of the 3 the NEXT morning! The 3rd car I brought to their shop on Queens blvd! The people on the phones were VERY HELPFUL! The PRICES were GREAT ! Direct bill to my Ins company with 2 and I paid for the 3rd car! Price was RIGHT the WORK was RIGHT! Lifetime warranty What more can you ask for! I was desperate and this COMPANY was a PLEASURE to deal with from start to finish! Dont go by what the other review says it was the TOTAL opposite! Very Satisfied and would not hesitate to go back to this Family owned and operated business!
TERRIBLE! I have never had such a bad experience in my life. If there's any recommendation to be made, it's to STAY WAY FROM THIS PLACE. I came here for a windshield replacement and here's the nightmare that occurred.
In short, I was:
- Lied to by dishonest employees who would not honor their word
- Given a scratched windshield TWICE
- Given bad attitudes from employees almost as if they didn't even want my business
- Not offered a place to wait because the "waiting couch" had construction materials on it
- Kept waiting around for over two hours to find out nothing was done to my vehicle after I was told my problem was "fixed."
This is my story in detail:
I had the most disheartening, foul, and repulsive experience at Queens Liberty Auto Glass. It was a Friday morning when I came in to have my front windshield replaced. I was told the wait would be two hours, and was not offered an area to wait or sit. The "waiting" couch was covered by construction materials, and while there were empty chairs in the office, it didn't seem like the employees wanted me in there. After the new windshield was installed, I noticed a large scratch on the glass. I brought it to the attention of one of the employees in the office; he came to see the scratch and then walked away from me without saying a word. I followed him into the office, and he told me to come back on Monday morning to have a new windshield installed. I asked him to confirm it in writing on the original receipt, and he did so with a nasty attitude. I returned on Monday morning and was greeted with "JUST GIVE ME THE KEYS." I was told it would be another two hours, so I waited. After two hours, my keys were handed back to me with a "HAVE A NICE DAY." I went outside to see that my car was moved, but the same old windshield was still on the car. I brought it to their attention, and they told me they had "fixed" the issue, yet I was looking at the exact same windshield with the same scratch, untouched. At this point, I had waited two hours for absolutely nothing. I requested that a new windshield be put in as it had been promised. I was given a new windshield, but even this new one had scratches on it. I didn't have any more patience to deal with the issue so I just left and settled for what I was given. The two people running the business in the Queens location are some of the rudest I've come across. This was an absolutely horrific experience and I'm far from a satisfied customer. I will NEVER return, and I will only tell people to STAY FAR AWAY from this business.
