De Paul's Furniture Refinishing
I brought in an old Chinese Chest Bruce Lee gave me in the late 60s. We were working on a movie "Marlowe" with James Garner. I used it as a coffee table. He had some friends make the iron stand it's on. Anyway though the years it was stored in my garage. I had decided to retire and went to the Fiji Islands and built a house and didn't take Bruce's chest, Thank God. I had a scary adventure during the 2 military coups there and got back and got into hard times and will have to sell it. It's being auctioned off soon. I brought it in to have it restored a little and they did a fabulous job preserving all the good things about it. When the lid came loose you could see that it was attached by wooden nails. It's really old and Bruce thought it had another painting underneath, maybe even pornographic. Dennis Hopper tried to buy it from me when I was doing "Out of the Blue" with him. I've hung onto it as long as I can. The auction is well I'm pasting the info...
