Veterinary Healthcare Assc
The wonderful team at Veterinary Healthcare Associates saved our dogs life! Last Saturday night our little dog was attacked by another dog. We rushed into the emergency entrance at VHA, and the staff there worked true magic. Everyone was awesome to us (also helping to dress injuries we had received during the attack), they remained calm when we were completely freaking out, they were thorough and professional, yet friendly and soothing all at the same time. Dr. Waters and her team did an amazing job and because of their expertize our dog is on the road to recovery. I can never thank them enough - he is our whole world and they saved him! Thank you from D, AJ and most of all from Jakey

Dunham Animal Hospital
I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Dunham, Dr. Davis and the ladies that work at the clinic. They are the absolute best group of people I've ever met. They tried EVERYTHING possible to save my precious furbaby. When all efforts were failing, they kept me completely updated. They are not just great with animals but superb with people. They were SO compassionate and caring. Although I lost my beloved baby, I know, in my heart, that he was well cared of. If you love your pet as much as they love you, take them to Dunham Animal Clinic. You won't be sorry and neither will your best friend. As I said, They're the BEST!

Little Wolfe's Pet Resort
Brad BravardVery happy with Little Wolfe's. We boarded our two dogs there. Their prices were reasonable, the staff was easy-going, and we had every indication the dogs were treated well. We also took our senior miniature poodle there for grooming. He is a project because he is mostly blind and easily stressed. I was immediately encouraged that the grooming is done behind a window to the lobby, so customers can see the dogs being groomed. He came out looking perfect, the cost was very reasonable, and they were faster than other groomers we've gone to. We will definitely be returning to Little Wolfe's.

Doggy Fresh Express Mobile Pet Grooming
Arnold and Doggy Fresh Express are fantastic! My Yorkshire terrier Molly has a very nervous personality and has had a really hard time with grooming in the past. We have been to several groomers with no success. They all say Molly is impossible to work with. I found Doggy Fresh online and made an appointment. Arnold really took the time to create a positive grooming experience for my Molly. She was a completely different dog afterwards. She was happy, calm and relaxed and the puppy cut Arnold did for her is fabulous! I will be grooming Molly on a regular basis with Doggy Fresh!! Highly recommended!!!

Doggy Fresh Express Mobile Pet Grooming
Arnold is the man! My husky is 11 years old and very grouchy. We can't take him to the salon anymore because he sits there all day and it takes its toll on him. We found Doggy Fresh Mobile Pet Spa online and called for an appointment. I explained to Arnold about my dogs arthritis problems and he was able to get a full groom in less than 2 hours! I can't express my gratitude enough! I am now able to get my husky a regular bath and groom every month! Highly recommend Doggy Fresh especially for elderly dogs!

Dunham Animal Hospital
Superb! They saved my Poodle's life! By divine intervention, I ended up at this vet's office since mine was closed. They were able to diagnose what was wrong with him, gave him the treatment he needed & is on his way to being a normal dog once again. This vet also treats exotic animals & makes house calls, which is practically unheard of today. Staff is very nice & helpful & you will not get turned away. Kudos to the doctors & staff.

Doggy Fresh Express Mobile Pet Grooming
Doggy Fresh Express has changed my life dramatically. I have two Maltese dogs that I get groomed regularly. They are so happy after their spa days. They run around wagging their tails and are so soft and smell good. Arnold takes the time to do all the extra steps that most groomers skip like plucking the hair on the inside of the ears and shaving the pads of their feet! I couldn't ask for any better and highly recommend this service!!

Doggy Fresh Express Mobile Pet Grooming
I love Doggy Fresh Express! I use to take my dog Taz up to a salon and he would always come back with clipper burn all over his body. So when my neighbor recommended Arnold, I called him right away. He was very nice and professional and the mobile salon was very clean and organized. Taz loved his experience with him and best of all no clipper burns!! I would highly recommend Doggy Fresh Express!!

Doggy Fresh Express Mobile Pet Grooming
Arnold with Doggy Fresh has changed my dog's life. My shih tzu has extreme anxiety issues when it comes to grooming. I haven't found anyone else with the patience to understand and try to work with her on these issues. I don't know how he did it but she is a completely different dog now. She loves her grooming days and we are happy owners! Thank you Arnold and Doggy Fresh Express!!!

Tips & Advices
Most city and county shelters offer affordable spay/neuter services. SPCA and Humane Society shelters also are known for their low-cost spay/neuter programs.
Shelters typically offer spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchipping and some essential medical treatment (deworming, mange treatment) to animals being adopted from the shelter. For other veterinary services, you will need to find a vet.
No-kill and low-kill shelters will state it in their online profile and other official materials. They will usually explain what their process/policy is for looking after the animals in their care. These are also known as “limited admission” shelters because they are usually at full capacity most or all of the time. Also, they often work with rescue organizations or county Animal Services authorities to accommodate animals living in inhumane conditions, abandoned or injured animals.
Anyone can bring a lost animal to a county or municipal shelter. However, private shelters affiliated with rescues often will not accept animals, whether lost or surrendered by owners. Shelters with low-kill policies often have a limited admission capability.
Adopting an adult dog from a county or city shelter usually costs $75-$100. Young adult purebreds and puppies often have a higher adoption fee.  The fee to adopt a cat is usually about $50– sometimes with discounts if one new owner adopts two cats. The adoption fee usually covers the cost of spay/neuter surgery and essential vaccinations.
