The wine list is outstanding with 4 long pages of wine by the glass (or bottle) and another menu of bottle-only choices. We went in twice in 2 days and had 5 different wines. All were really excellent. I really don't think it was because we lucked into always hitting what we like. I believe they just don't stock mediocre wines. The menu is meat heavy so, vegetarians shouldn't expect to have dinner here. There are some nice choices for nibbles on the appetizer list making it a good place to start or finish the evening. And if you eat meat, you could happily stay all night. The waitstaff are knowledgeable and friendly. The decor is charming. If we lived in Wilmington, they would know our names.
The cheese taste old because you PROBABLY had the aged 15 year gouda on the amazing cheese platter. This place rocks, every single wine is outstanding, the food is simple and delicious, and the staff if great! Everyone I've talked to said that even though they have not placed any wall decor up, which is quite odd, that the atmosphere in this place is quaint and social. I am making this my Saturday night stop to warm up for downtown
Look at the dates on all the negative reviews. They all were posted on the same date obviously by the same person. I like this shop honestly and I am always treated good when I pay them a visit. Huge selection for water pipes, Kratom, tobacco etc. Take these reviews with a grain of salt, visit the store, and make the decision on wether it sucks or not on your own and not based on these reviews.
I enjoyed a wonderful dinner with friends prepared by the one and only Executive Chef Larry Fuller! The North Carolina Crab Dip was absolutely wonderful and words cannot express how much I enjoyed the Sweet Tea Fried Chicken!!! The best Collard Greens on this side of HEAVEN! If I could only make my Potato Salad as good as theirs I'd be the chef myself!!!!!
We were pleased with the wine and delicious food so much that we came back for dinner the next day. My husband enjoyed the cheese platter and I loved the steak dinner. The prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly and efficient. Very nice place to wine and dine. We definitely will come back and would recommend to anyone.
Surprised at the last review! Service was amazing! Very friendly staff that treats everyone like old friends, even though I was new. The Place looked great!!! Cleanest "dive" bar I've ever been in... and they had some really great deals on drinks! The bartender was so pretty and sweet. I'll be going back as soon as I can!
Great spot in midtown locally owned for decades! Solid drinks reasonably priced and the cleanest bar I've been to in some time. The bar tender was very nice, on point, and easy on the eyes. There was a lot to do, from pool, darts, and arcade games on huge lcd screens such as golden tee. I'll be back there. Check it out
The food itself was not bad at all, in fact it was quite tasty, the only problem I had was that the first time I did visit from another state, I remember the plates being a bit larger now its like they cram a little bit of food onto a small plate to make it look like there's more! Oldest trick in the book!
I had the Teriyaki Chicken White Meat and it was very delicious. They gave more than enough food to feed a small army for a good price. The place is clean and the staff are friendly. Located in the heart of things on Market Street, must go!
Best Head Shop in WillingtonIf they don't have it , you dont need it.Open from 11 -9Sometimes they close before 11 is the only bad thing about this shop..
