Solaris Hair Salon
My experience...my son is 12yo, normal boy. Albert has always been impatient with him. I only continued to use him because of the price and the time. Albert never smiles, never shows any type of personality. I felt he didn't like dealing with children, especially when we walked in. Some experiences-I left my debit card accidently, he never tried to find me(even with going there for a while.) When I walked in to pick it up, he didn't say a word, walked over to the register and handed it to me-rude. My son put some product in his hair a few years ago, I was unaware. Albert didn't offer to wash his hair(as I would have paid for this,) he cut the sides and told me to bring my son back 5 days later. The haircut was subpar, long pieces of hair on the top that did not blend in to the rest of his hair. I let that go, figuring with the growth of my son's hair, it would take care of itself. I went without a car for a few periods in the last few years. My kids and I had to ride our bikes from Roslyn to Willow Grove and when my son sat in his chair, Albert seemed beside himself that my son's hair was greasy(my son does shower, and with a bike ride, my kids do wear helmets, and with a 3.5 mile bike ride in warm conditions, wouldn't you expect sweat?) He dramatically towel dried his head, again, he could've asked me to wash his hair and I would've had no problem with that. I walked in on the 3rd Wednesday in June this year. My son stopped to get a gumball as I walked back to the men's part, Albert was sitting in his chair, with a look on his face, and he says "I don't want to cut your son's hair anymore, he doesn't listen and he moves." I stood there in disbelief, turned around and walked out. Some people say there's a language barrier,I don't buy that, he speaks English, he's just a rotten, miserable excuse of a person, who discriminates against children. Spend your money elsewhere to someone who actually appreciates it. My son will gladly get his hair cut elsewhere
