My husband and I have been going to the Eagle House for more than 20 years for lunch and dinner and NEVER had a bad meal or experience there. The ambiance and coziness, as well as the fantastic food and service, keep us coming back. We got to know one server, in particular, quite well and were sad the day he told us he was going to New York City to work at the World Trade Center. He was so excited that we were excited for him. On that fatefull day on 9-11, he lost his life and to this day we can feel Leonard's presence at the Eagle House. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to all because it can't be beat!!

My dining partner and I ate lunch here in February. We had a table by the window of the enclosed porch and it was lovely to be right next to Ellicott Creek, even in winter. Tables and cutlery were clean. Our food was great. My partner had fish (in a cracker batter), which was fresh and well-prepared. I enjoyed the French onion soup, which was covered with gooey, yummy cheese and a spinach salad, which was OK. Service was good. Prices are slightly high. My partner insists it was good and he frequently has suggested that we return and try dinner..

I know a lot of people don't like chain restaurants but this place is so enjoyable it feels like its privately owned. The food is good. There is a separate shopping area where you can find all kinds of trinkets and it's a good place to go if you have children.

This is my first review. We went last Saturday because of an advertisement for two October fest specials. I had the sauerbraten my wife had the meatloaf. Everything about this place was fantastic. We had the best French onion soup we have ever had. The broth was deep in flavor and the onions were perfectly cooked. I think they used a Gruyere instead of mozzarella. The house salad dressing was a poppy seed with a tart lemon overtone. My wife loved it. The sauerbraten was second only to my mother's with purple cabbage and hot potato salad. My wife has never ordered meatloaf in a restaurant in her life and she is glad she did. The meatloaf was served in mushroom gravy with mashed potatoes and perfectly cooked carrots and green beans. The meal was delicious. We were very full but we had to try a dessert so we split the chocolate creme brulee. It was the best I ever had. The quality of every single thing we had was first class and would be enough to send us back but the service and decor was equally impressive. The waitress was very friendly and helpful and was always there when we needed her. The place is small with dark woods and romantic lighting. There is a bar separate from the dining area. This is a perfect date restaurant or a night out without the kids. The menu was classic, American foods with a nice variety. We are going again tonight and we are taking friends. I hope it is as good as the first time.

13.Salvatore's Italian Gardens
6461 Transit Rd,
One of the biggest issues with restaurants in general is that many are not consistent. That's not the case with Salvatore's. Growing up in the restaurant business personally I got to learn and experience first hand what fine dining food and service was all about. I honestly didn't think there was such thing as a restaurant so precise in Buffalo. Everything was on the dime. Service wasn't just professional, it was very personal which I think is a major plus when you go out to dine and spend money. I was able to tell the food was outstandingly fresh, and each dish on their menu is unique in its own way. Another major plus I'd like to add is that the owners and managers are always there working their butts off, on top of that their always greeting people and socializing saying their hellos to the regulars that come in where as most restaurants you don't even know who the owner is and if you do, you'll very rarely see his/her face. Anytime you go you feel your treated special and you'll also feel like your part of the family. And there's also guaranteed live music every Friday and Saturday which makes things that much better. If I had to say one bad thing about this place it would be that the wine list is too big! So many selections and verities I honestly can go there every night for the rest of life and have a different glass of wine and still not try all the selections they have to offer. If you'd like to know the definition of ""fine dining"", don't pick up a dictionary or type it in google...go to Salvatore's and you'll never forget what fine dining means. The Buffalo/WNY area is lucky to have such a place to be entertained and enjoy a meal at any night of the year. Whether I'm taking my clients out to dinner or going out for a regular night out with my family, I will always be a regular here.

Waitresses were great. Management gave us free appetizers because they thought we had been sitting too long without drinks and talked with us for quite sometime. Never have been disappointed. Best steaks I've ever had.

Food was all really tasty, but the fish was 90 percent breading or coating and very little fish and my spouses salmon was overcooked, But the seafood was superb and the biscuits beyond yummy. A good meal just rather spendy.

I tried the new Tullys restaurant in Cheektowaga. As soon as we entered we greeted by a very friendly hostess that sat us right away. Our server arrived a few seconds later and took our drink orders. She was very polite and did try to upsell us but was not pushy at all. The food arrived quickly and hot. Everything was very good. The atmosphere was very fun. GOOD JOB!!!

My fiance and I recently had dinner and some drinks at Buffalo Brew Pub. I loved the cheery and warm atmosphere in the place. I am not the biggest beer drinker, but I do know I am not one of those typical ""Coors Light"" girls. Loved trying a bunch of different beers that the bartender suggested. I give this place 2 thumbs up!

The food in general is amazing, but what really caught my attention is all the vegetarian choices there. During my visit at the PizzaPlant, I was not displeased at any moment. I was seated in less than 5 min even though when I walked in it looked like it would take half an hour because it was quite busy. It was a saturday night and their was a live band playing. Their is actually one every saturday. When I sat at my table my waitress came immediately. I was going to get the black angus burger, but then I noticed the turkey burger and decided to get that instead because it looked healthier. For a drink I ordered their house beer, Inferno Pod Ale. It was hoppy with a malty balance and it was was spectacular. They have 12 craft beers to choose from, plus cask conditioned handpull beer (did not try, but told it's like what's served in England) When my turkey burger came it was delicious. The burger was tender and mouth watering. It had fresh tomato, lettuce and I added jalapeno peppers which made the burger have the perfect amount of spiciness to it. All in all, my experience at the PizzaPlant Italian Pub was great and I definitely recommend going there.

The workers and manager are very rude ever time we go in there. They act like your not even in the restaurant, watching tv and standing around.I bring in a handicapped man to eat,his choice. When asked for a bag to put his leftover wings in to take home. They said they don't have any, with a bad attitude. Then said I had the attitude.Every time I am in there they are very unfriendly. Then the manager tried to say it was my fault to my friend ,to cover his lazy and actions.
