Anne's Fashions
I love this store!!! Lisa & Glenda are so friendly & very helpful. They will give you a honest opinion on whether what you try on looks good on you or not. I really appreciate their store, as far as I'm concerned there is no other women's store that gives me such good service. Thank you Lisa & Glenda. (You have really nice employees also).Mary Ruhl

Cresthill Suites
While a good value for most, a bit better Pest Control could be suggested. Three roaches seenu within my 12 hour stay. Continental Breakfast a joke compared to the normal style at any other chasing hotel. Frowns and no talking at front desk, all flooked they hated working there.

SpringHill Suites by Marriott Wichita East at Plazzio
I most often stay here when I'm in town for business. Good location for me and overall pleasant stay. Could use a better lobby/breakfast/bar area though.

Wichita Marriott
The remodel looks great, stayed on the top floor and something on the roof was banging around all night. :( But overall good property.

Burnell's Fine Jewelry and Design
Burnell's was given a difficult job. My son and daughter in law brought them a mother's/grandmother's ring that had just had two new stones added by a competitor, and that store had done a very, very poor job. Burnell's agreed to remove the poor workmanship and make the ring as we requested. They did an amazing job and I could not be more happier with the results! Thank you SO much for your craftsmanship and skill. This ring is now an heirloom I am very proud to pass on!

Belden Jewelers
I took in my Mother-in-law's mother ring to have two stones added to it as a Christmas Gift. I was told it would be back by December 22nd. The lady helping me at the store wrote down very specific instructions for the jeweler on where these stones should be placed on the ring. I got the call that they received it back from the jeweler on December 22nd but when I went in the stones weren't in the right spot. I had them send it back to the jeweler and was told it wouldn't be back until after Christmas because of UPS (which I understood completely) but that it shouldn't take more than 7 days. I called December 29th and was told with the weather and the holidays that it was "probably" just delayed. I called back on January 4th and was informed that it had in fact been sent back to them but was wrong again so without notifying me they sent it back to the jeweler. It was now with the "head jeweler" and should be back by Wednesday January 6th. I called on the 6th and they still hadn't received it. I was told it should now be in on January 7th or 8th. I told them if it was wrong again I did not want it sent back to the jeweler. It came in on January 7th. For all of my troubles they tried giving me a $25 gift card for a future purchase; instead, we got $65 off of this purchase so instead our total was $104. The only issue with this is that the stones that were added were raised higher on the ring than the rest of the stones. They tried to play it off like there was nothing that could be done its just how they were going to sit on the ring. After taking it to two more jewelers for a second opinion, we were told by both jewelers that the stones could be made flush. Not only that but the jeweler we decided on (Burnell's) said that Belden ruined the stones we purchased from them by setting them with heat instead of a laser. So now we are paying another $130 to fix the problems that Belden caused. I highly recommend not purchasing anything from Belden if there is any chance at all of it having to be sent to their jeweler. We had issues with there jeweler doing stuff to my engagement ring without asking as well.

Sweet Illusion
Sweet Illusion provide the best costumer service. I would definitely recommend this store for your prom/formal dresses. They also have street clothes, cute shoes, and nice jewelry. The prices are affordable. All around a great store, way better than Parrot-fa-nalia.

Springfield Inn
Great place to stay for the price:This is a wonderful hotel. The front desk staff is amazingly nice and friendly. The housekeepers are very friendly as well. The hotel may be a bit older but is definitely worth the stay. Springfield Inn is one light up from I35 - very convenient. It is very quiet at night and I was able to rest peacefully. They have free coffee in the lobby next to the ice machine. The rooms are large and comfortable. They are several popular places to eat less than 30 seconds away from the hotel within walking distance. I've had several rooms here and they are all clean and smell very fresh. And yes......unlike many high end hotels, Springfield Inn actually washes their comforters!!!The free internet is also very quick and efficient and very easy to link to. I highly recommend this hotel whether you are a local or traveling through.

Serenity Bed and Breakfast Inn
If I could give negative stars I would. Please stay far far away from this B&B. The owner is a scam artist. He charged me for 3 nights stay and when I told him I would only be staying one night he said no problem he would refund me the other 2 nights. That was 3 months ago, many unanswered phone calls and emails ago. I now have a fraud investigation going through my bank to get the money back. The house looks great in picts but is actually a dingy house falling apart. There are really bad garbage odors from the house next door that the B&B owner is trying to mask with unbearable levels of fragrance diffusers. There is even sickening levels of chemical spray on the sheets. My bed was actually wet from the spray that is how much is sprayed on. There was also a person standing outside my balcony with a gun in his hand for a while from the house next door. Really glad I paid that extra money for a balcony overlooking a garbage bin overflowing with garbage and a gangster with a gun. Who would ever expect this at a B&B. Not me. Have always had fantastic experiences at them until this one. I feel so bad for the two little dogs that have to live in that sickening level of fragrance. Imagine what it is like for them. I have no idea how they make this B&B look so good in picts. It is bizarre the difference between the picts and real life.
Tips & Advices
By law, you need to be insured up to the minimum amount required in your state before getting behind the wheel of any car. Beyond that, your insurance needs will vary depending on your financial situation and the amount of risk you are willing to take on.
  • Full or comprehensive car insurance is the most expensive, but often the best deal for drivers who own an expensive car, those who commute frequently or anyone who lives in an area with extreme weather or high crime rates.
  • Drivers of less expensive or older cars usually save more by opting for the minimum required policy, along with some extra coverage if they can afford it. Since the cost of repairs might exceed the total value of an older vehicle, some owners forgo collision protection in favor of greater liability coverage or personal injury coverage.
If someone other than you causes an accident while driving your car, most insurance policies will still pay for damage, according to the rules that apply. However, it’s a good idea to check with the insurance provider to be sure this is the case. Regardless, either the at-fault driver or the actual policyholder will be responsible for paying for anything not covered by insurance. People who don’t own a car but frequently borrow or rent one might consider purchasing a non-owner policy to make up the difference.
Car insurance premiums might be tax deductible in certain situations, but only with the documentation to prove it. Insurance costs may be deducted as part of overall business expenses if you use that car for work-related travel. However, this does not generally apply to taxpayers who use the standard deduction when filing their income tax returns. If your car is used for business purposes often, save all insurance-related documentation, as well as receipts, invoices and other forms of proof that your vehicle expenses were for business purposes.
Car insurers set premium prices depending on every driver’s individual risk. A huge number of details are factored into every determination of insurance risk, so the cost of any two policies can vary widely depending on the driver’s personal attributes, accident history, location, vehicle type and much more. The type of coverage you choose also impacts what you pay - premiums for minimal liability coverage will almost always be lower than those of a universal coverage policy.
The cost of car insurance is highly variable, but according to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, U.S. motorists pay around $900 per year on auto insurance.
