My experience with Dave and Andrew (they run the front desk) has been a pleasure. I have limited income and had two vehicles break on me within 2 weeks together. The truck mostly quit running as if no electrical or bad catalyctic converters. They tested everything and it took 1 day to identify the problem was that the Fuel Pump was on it's last breath. They replaced it the next day, and only charged me for the labor to put it in.My Wife's Buick was doing similar, cutting out, dying, etc. Code was saying MAS senser, and other codes behind it. They again spent MORE than a day working on, replacing different sensers, etc and after many hours of digging, they identified that it was not related to the MAS< but was actually the Crank Senser with a bad Cam Sensor. After they replaced these, they again, kept the total down and allowed me to pay a few days later after I got my next check. They did not scapl me and they were honest.Twice while I was waiting in the waiting area, i had two different women tell me they were so glad to find a place to bring there car and feel like they were not being taken advantage of (just because they were a single woman)...If you do not believe this, I can be reached at (801)403-6865 (cell) as I never knew these people before, maybe there still is hope that honesty and consciencous will prevail....

Ken Garff West Valley Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram
We went to the West Valley car dealership thinking about trading in our Chrylser 300 and not knowing what car we wanted to buy. Jake and Sergio G were very knowledgable about all of the cars we wanted to test drive. We ended up buying our second Chrysler 300 and couldn't be happier about our choice. The experience we had purchasing this car was by far the best experience we have had. We have bought many cars at Ken Garff and other dealers but Sergio G and Jake were outstanding. We will keep coming back to Ken Garff for our cars because of the excellent customer service we received. Justin also went out of his way making the car buying experience easy.

The Automotive Back Shop
The guys always take care of everything quickly. I take my car there before we go on vacation and they check everything for free and let us know if there's anything that's wrong. They keep my family and our safety as a priority and they will for you too. Great prices, great service, family safety, etc. what more could you ask for? I would recommend them to anyone.

Jaak Towing
I was caught with a flat in unfamiliar territory and though I had called a number of other roadside service companies who all said it would be an hour wait, Jaak's said they would be with me in 15 mins and they were. Jesse arrived and in no time took care of my issue with a very professional and friendly manner. I would highly recommend Jaak Towing.

Hillside Tire & Service
When you pick up your vehicle from inspection and emissions... check your VIN number on the documentation they give you... They incorrectly entered my VIN which DMV pointed out... causing me to return to Hillside for corrections... This made registering my vehicle a real hassel...:(

Pep Boys Auto Parts & Service
Great team. Helped me get my 2008 Acura TSX back on the road with nothing to worry about. I wish there was a Pepboys in Montana esp if they had a crew as good as this. I'd go no where else. Keep it up guys!

Great guys, who were very honest and forth right about what I needed to do with my car. They could have taken me for a ride with a check engine light and they were outstanding.

Perez Auto Repair & Tires
Got some tires here last week. They were a great price and they put them on so quickly. A little out of the way for me but I'd definitely go back for anything else.

Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
