Pet Spa and Beyond
I tried Pet Spa & Beyond for the first time a couple of weeks ago. First of all, Betty is simply amazing, what a wonderfully cheerful and joking attitude she has. I mean dog grooming aside, just being in her company for a few minutes was enough to bring a bright attitude into what was otherwise a previously stressful day for me. Then after seeing the job she did on my little "Buckeye," a bulldog-terrier mix who's hobbies include long romantic walks on the beach, I am convinced there is NO better dog groomer in all of South Florida, or anywhere for that matter! Even more interesting is the fact that Buckeye normally does not take to women initially, and yet I literally almost had to pick him up in order to get him out of the store...he loved her like nothing else. Thanks Betty (and staff), you guys are really great and I appreciate the passion and heart you bring to the work you do. You make me all the more excited in my efforts to support the growth of local businesses.

Pet Spa and Beyond
I have two small dogs. After seeing an article on-line I decided to give Pet Spa & Beyond a try. I have to say being a dog owner and lover for more then 30 years this is the best experience I and my dogs have ever had! This is the first time my dogs weren't completely traumatized and a nervous wreck after spending a day at the groomers. My dogs were treated with such love and tenderness from Master Groomer Betty that when it was time to leave I had to drag then out of her beautiful Spa. They truly did not want to leave. This is a first for me and them! Both dogs have never been groomed better in their entire life span! They smelled delicious, they were the cleanest they have ever been and their hairdos were the cutest that have ever had. They looked, smelt and felt amazing! I will never go to another groomer again. 5 Stars for Pet Spa & Beyond!

Dr. Morgan is the only Veterinarian I truly trust with my cats. We recommend her office to all of our friends, family, and strangers we meet! From our first well check to our emergency appointments for potato chip crumbs in the eye. She is kind and patient with all of my questions and puts me at ease. Even my shy cat seems comfortable with her. I trust her completely to not run unnecessary test or procedures. Her office is VERY reasonably priced! We recently moved and when my little guy got sick we drove 700 miles for her to check him out and would do it again in a heartbeat.

I consider myself blessed to have selected Dr. Morgan as my Vet. I am very impressed by her knowledge and bedside manner. She figured out a condition on my dog, when 2 other vets at other offices could not. She is easily approachable, gives me as much time as I need for questions and returns my calls in a timely manner. I have an older German Shepherd who gets excited to see her and I trust Dr. Morgan with his life. She is very good at calming me down if I'm anxious about my pets. I have referred her to many of my friends and neighbors.

Wild Cargo Pets Inc
i was more than pleased to find the staff at wild cargo very helpful even though they were slammed with business while i was there. i attained almost all the stuff i needed and what they didn't have i'll be returning for next week to pick up my special order. in a day and age when your over-run with commercial pet stores it was good to find one of the originals still hanging around... not to mention the helpful advice they gave me that was actually true!!!! something those kids at pet-super whatever definetly have know clue about.

KB Doggies Pet Grooming
Though I have used them only a couple of times, I think they are fantastic. Kadel is a very gentle person. I have a Toy Poodle who is 11yrs old and has many health problems. He has taken excellent care of her, taking into consideration all her health issues and making sure she is comfortable with him. Wonderful man. Excellent service. Always on time. Prices are great also. I would highly recommend them. And I am a very tough critic when it comes time to my Poodle!

Hey can you edit my yelp review for Christine? Your the best at it Dr. Morgan is by far the best veterinarian we have ever had. You can tell she truly loves and takes pride in her profession. I have three Persian cats which are notorious for having health problems but they have been the healthiest kitties under Dr. Morgen's care. She is thorough and takes her time with us during our visits and is always happy to answer all our questions.

I had to bring my dog there to be put down because she has intestinal cancer. I found the doctors and staff to be very compassionate and very comforting. I have had many pets in my life and have been to many different vets and I must say I was very impressed by how sympathetic and professional the staff was. The facility was clean and we were taken care of promptly.

I highly recommend this clinic because Dr. Morgan has been our vet for over two years. She made us feel very comfortable with adopting my first dog ever. She is great with my dog and very informative with the medications and yearly shots he requires. I always felt very comfortable calling her over the phone if I had any questions. I highly recommend her.

Palm Beach Pet Market
Wonderful family owned business. Very friendly and great customer service. I was sad to see them relocate from Wellington to West Palm Beach but they did not forget their old Wellington customers thankfully, because for a nominal fee they will deliver to this area. I am so grateful for that service. Thank you Monty and staff.
Tips & Advices
Some pet groomers have viewing areas where owners can sit and watch their pets being treated. Most prevent owners from being in the same room as the pet, however, as the owner's presence might cause the pet to become too excited.
Pets that cannot interact with strangers do not make good professional grooming candidates. Sometimes medication can help, but some groomers don't take animals that have been sedated. If a pet becomes too unruly, a groomer may end the session entirely.
It's best to fully vaccinate pets before bringing them to their first grooming appointment. Dogs should receive the DA2PPC vaccine, which stands for canine distemper, canine andenovirus type 2, canine parvovirus, and parainfluenza. It's also a good idea to vaccinate dogs against Bordedatella (aka “kennel cough”). In fact, New York City requires dogs receive both DAPP and Bordetella shots. Cats, meanwhile, should get the FVRCP vaccine: feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus infection, and panleukopenia. In addition, all pets should be up to date on their rabies shots. Owners should wait at least 24 hours after getting their pet vaccinated before bringing it to the groomers.
Technically, there is no such thing as a pet that is too old for a professional groomer. In fact, older pets with joint or mobility issues often can't groom themselves and need someone else to clean them. However, pets that are blind, deaf, or have serious medical issues might not do well at a groomer, especially if the person is inexperienced. Owners should feel free to ask potential groomers about their understanding of elderly pet issues. Often, older pets will exhibit puppy-like behavior and squirm or yelp during grooming. Alternatively, they might not be able to stand for long periods of time. As such, grooming an older pet usually takes more time than grooming a young one.
Puppies and kittens should be at least 10 weeks old before their first professional grooming session. They should be used to being gently handled by strangers and comfortable being separated from their owners for a few hours at a time.
