East Coast Window Films
I would highly recommend East Coast Window Films to anyone looking for a quality job at a very reasonable price! Marco, the owner, was extremely professional, timely, and friendly. I recently purchased a car that had a terrible tint job from the previous owner. Marco smoothly removed the previous tint and applied new film. I am so pleased with it! My car looks great and East Coast Window Films made the process super easy! Just an FYI, as seen on my car from the previous owner... if you are going to apply tint on your car, do yourself a favor and pay the slightly extra money to have it done right the first time. ECWF is so reasonable with good quality film! Definitely worth it! Thanks, Marco!

My car is peeling after 2 months and the tint is filled with dirt specs. I called and he told me to wait and itll dry out, but it never did. I have now spent $500 on tint!!! Marco was a jerk and talked down to me because of the concerns I had for my car. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!

Heatwave Window Tinting
Got my car tinted with 3M crystalline (supposedly) from these folks in May 2012 after finding them on the 3M website. After the first botched attempt, they have refused to provide me with 3M warranty certificate giving a runaround every time. They claim that 3M is not providing them with the certificates so they cannot give it to me. I talked to the 3M regional manager in Ft. Lauderdale who indicated that 3M would provide the warranty certificates to their dealers within 48 hours of receiving the request. My CC provider couldn't help since service (sub-par) was provided. Beware of these folks. Their modus operandi is.1. Do the job at your residence rather than on their business premises2. Payment accepted on the name of a person rather than their registered business3. Job done by someone who who don't know, haven't talked to but claim to work for Heat Wave Tinting and sent by the owner Robert. 5 months is heck of a time to ship anything coast to coast. Save your $$ Check out how they are using different Web URL's and addresses for their business all pointing to the same phone no (561) 502-9000

Tips & Advices
Window tint film is typically applied to the inside of your car window. The film is first laid across the outside of the car window, and it's cut to fit the window's dimensions. Then the trimmed piece of tint film is installed on the inside of the car window.
Tinted windows offer several benefits. They can reduce the amount of heat in a car's cabin by as much as 50 percent, and this can lighten your fuel bill by making you less reliant on air conditioning in hot weather. Tinted windows block UV light, and this can protect drivers and passengers  from sunburn and skin cancer. Also, tinted windows protect the components of a car's cabin from being faded by the sun.
Ceramic tint is a type of film used to darken windows. Ceramic tint is a high-quality product, and it's typically the most expensive type of film tint on the market. This type of tint contains a ceramic particle that nonconductive and nonmetallic, and it can reduce solar heat within your car's cabin by as much as 50 percent.
A limo tint is one of the darkest tints available on the market. A limo tint has a VLT of just 5 percent. This means that the tint allows just 5 percent of exterior light to enter the car's cabin. A limo tint on the front side windows is illegal in all states except Michigan.
Window tinting percentages refer to the amount of light that a tint allows into a vehicle's cabin. This is known as the tint's visible light transference, or VLT. The higher the VLT, the lighter the tint of the window. For example, a window with a VLT of 30 percent would be much darker than a window with a VLT of 70 percent.
