Jon's Quality Auto Repair
I was referred to Jon's shop by my family member. I have an Acura and have been taking it there to be serviced for 9 years. My car was making a cracking noise and Acura told me I needed struts, ball joints, and boots. $1500.00 I was so disgusted... I took it to Jon and he looked at it and said it didn't need any of that. All it needed was sway bar links. $150 He put them on my car the very next day. 15 min. So out of curiosity I asked him about the engine mounts I had just replaced at Acura. $2300.00 He laughed and said sorry to tell you but you got ripped off. I said how much would of that been if I got it done here. He looked it up on his computer. $627 out the door! Jon is a very honest guy and he is not in this business to rip off people. I also was looking for a car to buy for my daughter and I called him up and asked him if he could take a look at it for me. I was about 35 minutes away from his shop and he came to look at the car. And was happy to. Needless to say he saved me again because that car I was about to buy was a piece of crap. It also had been in a wreck. I will bring all my car to him and tell all my friends. I am 100% confident you will love him too!

Master Techs Auto Repair
I own a car dealership in Kansas City. I buy cars from all over the US. We were loading the cars we purchased in Palm Beach and had one that had issues we were unaware of. It seemed as if the transmission wasn't working, and an issue like that means the car doesn't go back with us, and will be resold wholesale where it was bought. To be sure, I took it to Master Techs to get a diagnosis. They found that the car had been tampered with at auction and just needed to have a sensor plugged back in, a very small fix. They had the car fixed and ready within hours. After dealing with mechanics all over the country, I can attest these guys are honest and know their stuff, and in this business that is something rare and special. I wish I could have their shop in Kansas City, I would be their best customer.

Why Go to The Dealer
Had my 08 BMW 528i towed here today and I rode in the tow truck like a dork. I went into the office to explain what was going on and was told that my car was already being looked at - I forgot I had explained it to Mark on the phone (long day). I asked Mark how I could get to the main road to catch a bus home and he told me they were going to try to get me fixed and out today. Well, I was out of there with a new starter and a BMW with new life in a little under 3 hours. Having bought the car 2 weeks ago I was nervous that I was going to be mugged by some auto shop for all I had. You know, maybe those Yelp reviews were fake... They are the real deal. Very nice people there and they know what they're doing. The price was good, too. Thanks, Mark.

Victor Auto Tech Inc.
Victor Auto tech was highly recommended to me by a co-worker. I dealt with Victor, the owner himself. I was actually quite amazed as to how honest he was. A different shop told me I had to get whole front end fixed and would be approximately $1000-$1500. Victor flat out told me my front end was fine and that I only needed front rotors and brakes. He also replaced a large part inside my door because my window would not go up or down properly. I went from having to pay over $1000+ dollars down to just a few hundred including parts.. Thank God I found Victor. I will definitely be going back for everything I need fixed in the future and will be referring everyone that I know.

European Specialists of Wellington
Wade and staff are top notch. I challenge anyone to be more well versed in Mercedes and other European high end cars. It all started when Wade did a complete rebuild of a Mercedes for me many years ago. The guy truly knows his stuff and was personable and helpful through the process. Over the years he has serviced cars for many people I know and he is not only extremely capable with all vehicles, but equally honest and principled, which is hard to come by. I trust European Specialist implicitly for anything related to automotive repair. I take my cars very seriously and Wade and his crew are the best in the business!!

Vinnies Auto & Truck Repair
I had 4 error lights in my Infiniti G37 for 2 mo.'s. Was very concerned where ever I took it, this repair was gonna be extremely expensive, and I was gonna get taken! I checked out multiple places on the internet and read LOTS of reviews. Decided to go with Vinnie's Auto repair. Received a call 2 hours after taking my car in, with estimated repairs and costs. Was very happy with the repair news and costs! I have to say Vinnie's was extremely professional, honest, and very reasonably priced! I will recommend Vinnie's to everybody I know! Thank you for good quality work!

Victor Auto Tech Inc.
A close friend of mine referred me to Victor because he has used them for a while and said they are the best and cheapest around. I called around and got 4 quotes in the area to fix my A/C for my truck and Victor was about $250.00 cheaper than everyone else. Plus They fixed my A/C in only a few hours and did an overall check of my truck for free. I am definitely going back to get my shocks replaced and anything else I need in the future. I am also going to start bringing my mother's car to them from now on. Definitely professional, affordable, and fair.

Akop67 Sorry you feel that way. Back in March 2014 we had a center manager working for us, we found out later he was lying to our customers and doing some other unethical business practices. He has been dismissed. We have also have oh own people working with the customers. Our other employee have been here for years and years. We understand about one bad apple can spoil the whole bunch and have corrected that apple. Thank you, We hope people can understand that we did fix the proplem and things are much better now all around. Management

Victor Auto Tech Inc.
Many people from our company now take there vehicles to Victor's. Valentin and Jack went well above my expectations. Picked me up from my house so that I could pick up my car when it was finished and charged me less than half of what all other repair shops quoted me. They fixed my car same day within a few hours and even topped off all of my fluids and cleaned my engine that was full of oil from a leak that I had. I have finally found a reliable and affordable place to take my and my family's cars.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
