Jon's Quality Auto Repair
I was referred to Jon's shop by my family member. I have an Acura and have been taking it there to be serviced for 9 years. My car was making a cracking noise and Acura told me I needed struts, ball joints, and boots. $1500.00 I was so disgusted... I took it to Jon and he looked at it and said it didn't need any of that. All it needed was sway bar links. $150 He put them on my car the very next day. 15 min. So out of curiosity I asked him about the engine mounts I had just replaced at Acura. $2300.00 He laughed and said sorry to tell you but you got ripped off. I said how much would of that been if I got it done here. He looked it up on his computer. $627 out the door! Jon is a very honest guy and he is not in this business to rip off people. I also was looking for a car to buy for my daughter and I called him up and asked him if he could take a look at it for me. I was about 35 minutes away from his shop and he came to look at the car. And was happy to. Needless to say he saved me again because that car I was about to buy was a piece of crap. It also had been in a wreck. I will bring all my car to him and tell all my friends. I am 100% confident you will love him too!

Autobuy
As usual, we took our car to CarMax and once they check out the car, then tell you what is all wrong with it, why they are offering you so low, and then TRY to sell you a car, they went low on the appraisal. It really annoys me since I just want an appraisal not buying there! Of course the dealership is even lower than CarMax. Now this company, I was very cautious since I have never heard of it until I heard about it in the radio. I figure if they are paying for advertisement on the radio they should be good. I did my searches and even a BBB on them and it all looked good. Well we called them and they came out on a Monday afternoon and they beat the price by $250.00. Hey $250.00 we do not have to take out of our pockets to pay off the car. They were in and out in less than 15 minutes. Very courteous, very understandable and professional. If you are not satisfied with CarMax, which we were not, call them up! It's free in regards to them coming out, no obligation. Can't beat that. We recommend them highly!

Roger Dean Chevrolet
My fist car was an old Chevy pickup used in an old farmers field. My parents let me down. In the 80s and 90s I bought other brands Buick gmc Cadillac ford Toyota but all failed me major car repairs fading paint and rust seats and controls were easily broken and radios had to be replaced I finally went back to Chevy in 2004. Best decision I ever made! I purchased a 2004 Sliverado pick up truck and I am very happy !! In 10 years I have only had to replace the belt that was wore out. It cost 200.00 easy repair I realize now that my parents didn't let me down. They wanted me to have the very best!! I am convinced now that Chevy is the only vehicle in my life and my children and their children. I want the best for my kids and grandchildren as well. thanks Chevy, keep up the quality and great prices!! I want more stars than five. I give you 10 stars Chevy!! A loyal customer forever. Master Techs Auto Repair
I own a car dealership in Kansas City. I buy cars from all over the US. We were loading the cars we purchased in Palm Beach and had one that had issues we were unaware of. It seemed as if the transmission wasn't working, and an issue like that means the car doesn't go back with us, and will be resold wholesale where it was bought. To be sure, I took it to Master Techs to get a diagnosis. They found that the car had been tampered with at auction and just needed to have a sensor plugged back in, a very small fix. They had the car fixed and ready within hours. After dealing with mechanics all over the country, I can attest these guys are honest and know their stuff, and in this business that is something rare and special. I wish I could have their shop in Kansas City, I would be their best customer.

Why Go to The Dealer
Had my 08 BMW 528i towed here today and I rode in the tow truck like a dork. I went into the office to explain what was going on and was told that my car was already being looked at - I forgot I had explained it to Mark on the phone (long day). I asked Mark how I could get to the main road to catch a bus home and he told me they were going to try to get me fixed and out today. Well, I was out of there with a new starter and a BMW with new life in a little under 3 hours. Having bought the car 2 weeks ago I was nervous that I was going to be mugged by some auto shop for all I had. You know, maybe those Yelp reviews were fake... They are the real deal. Very nice people there and they know what they're doing. The price was good, too. Thanks, Mark.

Greater Yamaha Of Palm Beach
I must say that this is one of the best experiences I have had making a large purchase in a long time. I bought a Yamaha SX190 2012 from this dealer (worked with Mike, Pete and Justin). They were all very responsive answering all e-mails outside of normal business hours. Justin responded within minutes after normal business hours with answers to any concerns I had along the way. They delivered on their promises and made the entire process extremely painless. Jimmy who is in finance closed the deal with friendliness and has been responsive after the fact anytime I have sent an e-mail with a question. Overall stellar customer service and process from start to finish. I highly recommend making a purchase through these folks.

Victor Auto Tech Inc.
Victor Auto tech was highly recommended to me by a co-worker. I dealt with Victor, the owner himself. I was actually quite amazed as to how honest he was. A different shop told me I had to get whole front end fixed and would be approximately $1000-$1500. Victor flat out told me my front end was fine and that I only needed front rotors and brakes. He also replaced a large part inside my door because my window would not go up or down properly. I went from having to pay over $1000+ dollars down to just a few hundred including parts.. Thank God I found Victor. I will definitely be going back for everything I need fixed in the future and will be referring everyone that I know.

European Specialists of Wellington
Wade and staff are top notch. I challenge anyone to be more well versed in Mercedes and other European high end cars. It all started when Wade did a complete rebuild of a Mercedes for me many years ago. The guy truly knows his stuff and was personable and helpful through the process. Over the years he has serviced cars for many people I know and he is not only extremely capable with all vehicles, but equally honest and principled, which is hard to come by. I trust European Specialist implicitly for anything related to automotive repair. I take my cars very seriously and Wade and his crew are the best in the business!!

EZ OWN CAR SALES
I just purchased a 2015 car and I never thought I would be able to get into something that new. They really do approve everyone because I was not able to get a loan from the other dealerships I went to before coming here. The staff at EZ own car sales are friendly and they treated me so nice. I am so happy to have a car that I don't have to worry about breaking down on me. I was able to trade in my old clunker and they gave me more money for my trade then i expected them to. I highly recommend this dealership and I won't go anywhere else to buy cars from now on. Thank you everyone at EZ own!!
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
