Worst rental experience ever. Long story, but in a nut shell... overcharged me $141 then refused to refund my money to my credit cards for an unrelated matter because they falsely made a damage claim to my insurance for a tiny dent that i was absolutely NOT responsible for. Absurd pompous manager at that location. I STILL do not have a refund. Almost two weeks now! Do not trust these people or this company!

Rented large truck on line at Airport location- it was ready when I got there -people were very nice and friendly. Truck was great- clean and drove like a caddy! Will use again' thank you!' Drop off was a breeze and they gave me refund for extra day I didn't use! Wow

I picked up my rental car at the Columbia Airport. I didn't have to wait in line. The customer services representative was well informed and very helpful. The process was quick and fast. Upon the return of the rental, the customer service representative as very concerned with my experience with the rental. I had no problem. I've always have great experiences with Enterprise Rental cars. This is the only rental car company that I use. Thanks for the great job!!

My experience with this location was great! Everything was smooth from making the reservation, picking up the vehicle and turning it back in. I was in and out in no time! I will use them again.

The Columbia Airport Enterprise has changed its hours to 8 AM. Don't worry you will get you email confirmation that you can pick up your vehicle at 7 AM the day before. When you freak out that you have 16 people waiting on you to make a long drive, you call to hear the hours of operation start at 7 AM. When the manger does arrive, he will not care, drag his feet and get you out of there by 8:40 AM. He will even comment that the hours change 28 days ago but they could not care enough to change the voicemail. Too bad we had schedule extended hours with the National Underground Railroad Museum. We could not even come close to making the cut off. I had to call and cancel. Worst company ever! They killed a chance for 16 boys to learn why our country needs to heal.

Went to this location yesterday and was not at all impressed. The Assistant Manager berated his employee the entire time they attempted to help us. Since our claim had not been assigned a claim number we would have had to pay until it was direct billed (this would have been fine if the A.M could have actually told us the rate...) Worst experience ever! Won't be using this location again. I cannot believe this guy is allowed to manage others

Thrifty Car Rental
Had this been 2013 this location would have had 5 stars. Wish I could give it 0 stars. I am not sure what kind of issues they are experiencing but they need to get it together. The first person that checked me out was very sweet but seem like she was new. She quoted me a price and said that it was including the rental the airport fees and roadsafe. Then she proceeded to offer me what she called "Optional" protections, and I declined them. When I saw that the amount of roadsafe I called back and asked if it was indeed optional and the person on the phone was rude and snapped at me that the person who rented it to me would have told me that, I explained that I was not told that it was optional nor did I know what it covered. I then was charged an hour late fee but I was never late. I picked up at 16:25 and I was in the Airport returning at 16:25. The rude girl in the pick jacket was flirting with the male that was a head of me. So I had no other choice but to wait. When it was my turn 5mins had passed and it was 16:30 and she was very matter of fact that there was nothing she could do because it was the computer charging me, but they had my due back time as 16:00 and not 16:25 as when I picked it up. So I was charged a whole hour that I did not use, a whole day on the roadsafe, and another day of airport taxes and fees. And I am still waiting on a call back from a manager. If you can avoid this place you better save yourself the headache. PS. They most likely get commission off their "Optional" protections, so if you must rent there make sure you DOUBLE check to make sure they are not charging you for additional services, because they will and say that YOU agreed to buy it.
Tips & Advices
Although special insurance isn’t always legally required for a moving truck, all auto insurance providers and moving specialists suggest you buy the special policy from the moving truck company. This is because most auto insurance policies have exclusions for covering vans and trucks over a certain size, and also because auto insurance will not cover the personal property inside a moving truck.
In order to drive a rented moving truck, a person must be on the rental agreement. Just as with rental cars, getting another driver put on your rental truck agreement may carry an additional fee per day.
Moving truck rental cost does not include the fuel cost. Make sure to find out from the rental company if there is anything to know about the type of gas the truck requires, as well as the location of the gas tank.
The rules about moving trucks and weigh stations vary somewhat by state. Some states do not require trucks to stop if the occupants are doing a personal move, not commercial moves. Others require all commercial trucks to stop, regardless of what they’re calling. When in doubt, stop.
Yes, pets are allowed in some moving trucks. However, all moving companies clearly state that renters should not put pets in the cargo area, and that pets should be in a transport carrier or properly harnessed for everyone’s safety. Moving truck rental companies all have clearly posted pet transport safety tips that you should review before moving day.
