Cliffs Auto Service
I moved to Weatherford in 2013. I have two Nissan cars but knew that new car dealerships charge far more than tire or independent stores like Cliff's for the same service. We travel a lot and I have had my cars into Cliff's at least 8-10 times for various maintenance and repair jobs. I have found them to be totally honest and to do top notch work. Recently, the Nissan shop told me I needed a new oil pan for $400 because the drain plus had been stripped out. Went to Cliff's and they explained that the plug is made of soft metal compared to the oil pan, so it likely only needed the plug to be removed, the stripped metal to be removed from the threads and then install a new plug. They did this all for free instead of the $500+ it would have cost me at Nissan. On another occasion, I took a car to Nissan twice for a tire pressure sensor light and each time they told me they could not find anything wrong. They charged me #$50+ both times. Took it to Cliff's 3 times because the light kept coming on. They couldn't find anything wrong either but charged me $35 the first time to reprogram the computer and did not charge me anything the 2nd and 3rd times. The light came on one more time after the 3rd time but I haven't seen it since. Bottom line: they ARE more than fair and remind me of the kind of tire store my Dad used to run. They have EARNED my business long term.

I go here for most of my car's needs. Slight things like oil/tires I go where ever, but anything else is always here. Great mechanics that are both professional and honest! So honest that if there is a cheaper way to get something done, they'll let you know. They won't empty out your pockets just to fill theirs (I don't even think they work commission). To the 1 star reviewer, if you had that experience, that sucks but I've never had any of the sort (maybe you blew it out of proportion a little...). Anyways, you can always trust these guys. They'll try to get you in and out or will get to your car ASAP, remember that people only have two hands and if they're busy on something else they can't grow more to do everything, so if they have someone available they'll get to you. Keep up the good work guys! I tell people all the time to check you out first and foremost!

my alternator had gone out in my'07 ford focus which is an electronically controlled engine and what could have been a financial nightmare was very patiently explained in detail what options i had and every cost right down to shutting the hood. For a female today it was a very welcome change from other mechanics who would go full hilt in replacing all kinds of things without even bothering to explain why they were needed. and having a bill that cost nearly as much as my car.Even though they weren't the lowest quoted price i got they were informative and timely i had my car back that evening.thank you christian brothers for all your help

I've had 3 different older vehicles that like to give me trouble as they get older. I've taken all 3 to 2033. I'm happy to report that I've never had the same problem twice, I've never been overcharged, lied to, or upsold on some other part or service. Everyone I've had the pleasure of dealing with has been friendly, helpful and. knowledgeable. Any and all questions and concerns were handled with patience and a smile. It is extremely hard for a female to be able to trust a mechanic shop, but, they've earned my trust and I will not take my vehicles anywhere else. Thank you, 2033!

Texas Tire Sales
The best in weatherford!! Had a blown serpentine belt on my volvo. From start to finish could not have asked for better service. They bent over backwards to work with me. Very fair price for the difficult work that has to be done. Allowed me to pay over the phone and all the work was done within a couple of hours on a Saturday. Just cannot express how appreciative i am for everything. Thank you Texas tire will not trade anywhere else for my vehicles from now on

NTB National Tire & Battery
I came in for an oil change and the staff was extremly polite and very helpful. They performed the work I came for and let me know I needed a tire, which I never look at. It could have been dangerous for both me and my children but because of ntb I feel like I am safer than I was with out them. Thanks for all that you do and I will definately return. True service is hard to find.

I took my truck there for a/c work and they did a great job. They fixed another shops mistakes and did it for a lot less. Communication was great and they are professional. I've been a few times now and each time they fixed what was wrong for a fair price. I would recommend over other shops in Weatherford.

The Pit Stop Auto Repair
I took my wife's Suburban in on the recommendation of the tow driver. They replaced the fuel pump and fixed a problem with the a/c. The service was outstanding, the price affordable, and done quickly. Pierce was great to work with. If you need work done your automobile, I would do it here.

I am new to the area and was hesitant to get my oil changed from bad past experiences. The service here is wonderful. Suede was honest, helpful, and took time to answer my questions. I would highly recommend this place and will come back again.
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
