Animal Magnetism Pet Services
A CARING PLACEI have been taking my dog, Baxter, to Animal Magnetism Pet Services since they opened their doors. This is a wonderful facility with caring, dog loving owners. It is CLEAN, BRIGHT, and has plenty of running room outside. I have had Baxter groomed and boarded there, and he goes to day care at least twice a week. He can't wait to go in when we get their, and really doesn't care whether i pick him up, or now. Seth and Patty Bach are the owners, Seth is the one who "Let's the dogs out", and keeps up with the "accidents", and Patty does her "magic in the grooming department". You can't find a better place to bring a dog. I highly recommend it!!!

Animal Magnetism is simply wonderful! I would not want to leave my sweet puppy anywhere else. I am so pleased with the devotion that the owners show toward all of the dogs. The dogs are played with most of the day--with some built in rest times. The owners also take the time to match up the doggies with the perfect playmates--Aspen has made some great buddies (both dogs and humans)!!She absolutely loves going to Doggie Daycare--there's nothing that excites her more! She comes home exhausted and it's obvious that she has had a perfect day. Thank you for providing a safe/happy place for my pup!

Animal Magnetism Pet Services
We left our 2 dogs with Animal Magnetism last weekend and when one began bleeding internally the staff rushed her to our vet. She was diagnosed with liver tumors and had to be put to sleep that night but we were able to get back in time to say goodbye to her and spend time with her first. If the staff hadn't realized what was going on and gotten her to the vet when they did, we might not have had that time with her. We will be forever grateful and will use her to board our remaining dog in the future!

Patty and Seth know and care deeply about dogs. We have used their grooming services for over a year now and our two Cavalier King Charles have never looked better than they do after Patty bathes and grooms them! I wish the groomers back in South Carolina, where we live most of the time, were as talented and caring.

We have taken our dogs to Patti and Seth for years now, even before Animal Magnetism when they did pet sitting at our house. They are very caring people and provide great services for our doggies. Our pets are well cared for and we have always been pleased with the grooming services. Totally trust worthy!

Animal Magnetism Pet Services
We have been having Patty and Seth care for our dogs for a few years now, even before they opened their business in Waynesville. They have always taken excellent care of our dogs. We are super pleased!
Tips & Advices
Pets that do not get along with other animals may incur an additional fee. Some facilities have special solitary sleeping and play animals for these types of pets.
A checklist for what to bring to a pet kennel includes:
  • Vaccination records
  • A favorite toy or blanket
  • Food and feeding instructions (if the pet has dietary restrictions or is a picky eater)
  • Medication (if necessary, in its original bottle and with written instructions)
Some pet kennels have veterinarians as part of their daily staff, while others only have vets part time or on call.
Most kennels can provide basic care such as administering medications, but owners of pets with serious medical issues should choose a facility with a veterinarian on call.
Bordetella, commonly known as kennel cough, is highly contagious, and most dogs catch it at least once in their lifetimes. As such, all dogs should be vaccinated at least 7 days before boarding.
