I went in for just an oil change. Staff seemed nice, but I had to go back when I was driving home because for some random reason, someone changed my car's settings to km/h and since I bought my car used and didn't have a manual, I didn't know how to change it back. Why were they messing with my car settings? They also turned my AC full blast. It's a hybrid, the AC doesn't blow when the car isn't moving to save energy and gas. That too I was confused about cause I thought it was common knowledge courtesy not to mess with the way the owner had the car such as AC, Radio, and Seat position. Overall not very pleased. High cost. Messing with my car settings(for no apparent reason). I'm going to go somewhere else next time.

Waxahachie Kwik Kar Lube & Auto Repair
Super fast service, 15 minutes tops from pulling up, to leaving for my oil change. Owner John came and introduced himself to me, we had a nice conversation. The place is clean, waiting room is cool and smells good. They have a cute children's area if a wait was required.

Splash Auto Bath Oil & Lube
If I could have given no stars I would have. Avoid this place like it is the plague!!!! They damaged my truck, after taking over 2 hours to try and fix it they refused to provide me with their insurance information so that I could make a claim. The "woman" in charge said they needed more time to fix it when I had already spent nearly 3 hours of my Saturday watching them use harsh chemicals on my paint. Had to call the police so that the incident would be documented. STAY AWAY!!!! They claim to be a trustworthy family owned business, but would not even give me a business card so that I could follow up later. Stay away unless you want an experience like mine.
Tips & Advices
You should change your oil filter whenever you change your oil, that is, approximately every 7,500 miles.
A oil filter is a device that helps remove contaminants from motor oil as it passes through the engine. A pump pushed the oil through the filter where it is strained and goes back to the engine.
High-mileage oil contains special conditioners that are said to help prevent gaskets from drying out and thus preventing leaks. This can be beneficial to engines with many miles on them.
Synthetic oil costs more than conventional oil, but the price is offset by the need for less frequent oil changes due to the oil’s durability.
Tools needed to change your own oil include jack stands or ramps, a wrench, an oil filter wrench, an oil drip pan, funnel, replacement oil filter, and replacement oil.
