Toyota Of Watertown
My 2004 Subaru Outback Wagon died on me last week so in haste I decided to purchase a new vehicle instead of getting it fixed. Getting it towed and repaired would have cost me thousands of dollars so it was in my best interest, and only realistic option, to upgrade at this time. I had recently done some research on the Toyota 'Hybrid' line and decided to give the Prius III a test drive. My roommate was ranting and raving about how cool and economically cost efficient they are so I figured I would investigate before looking at anything else. I chose Watertown Toyota because my landlord recommended it to be the closest location with an outstanding reputation for excellence in customer service. Elkin approached me outside and ensured me that he would present me with a vehicle I couldn't turn down. Elkin qualified me on buying a brand new Toyota Prius contingent upon me having an acceptable credit score. I drive for Lyft fulltime so I wanted something reliable, stylish, cozy, and affordable on those long rides. The Prius III is the perfect car for me and will now save me thousands of dollars in fuel costs and maintenance repairs for years to come. I am also ecstatic that Elkin got me qualified for a 0% APR for 5 years with Toyota Finance Corp. I was so excited that I opted in for the 5-year/125,000 mile warranty as well which gives me valuable peace of mind and sleepless nights when it comes to any future car repairs. Elkin provided me with a hassle-free, fair trade-in, fanatical customer service experience. He was professional from the moment we met and I trust that I am in good hands with Elkin and his professional team at Watertown Toyota. Thanks Elkin...I will now be referring prospective car buyers to you! ;)

Boston Volkswagen
My wife and I had a lease for a 2013 VW passat. We had a great experience the first time and our VW was great we went right back to Boston VW to re-lease another car. A 2016 VW Tiguan. This was the simplest process I have ever had buying a car. We got their, Bill found our car let us take it for a drive and within minutes of our return and telling him where we needed to be, and what we could put down, he came back with a price less than what we asked with less money down to get it than we offered. Great honest dealership. After that Chris the manager helped us and mailed down all the details, payments terms etc. we signed and were done. Total process was so quick and easy, we came back 2 days later and picked up the car. We dealt with Al in finance who great then Mike delivered us the car and spent a lot of time with us explaining every detail of the card and set up our phones via bluetooth etc. This was such a good experience buying a car it is now 7 days later and I went back to buy a VW from them and traded in my Kia because the tiguan we got for my wife is awesome.the standard base model has leather, heated seat, push button start, back up camera, touch screen radio and more. check out the car and go to Boston VW, we now bought 3 cars there and they make car buying easy. They do great work from start to delivery. Thanks to Bill and Mike in sales and Chris the sales manager and Al in finance.

Colonial Buick GMC
Everyone at Colonial Buick/GMC was more than pleasant and professional. My wife and daughter were treated very kindly during our visits and we felt like we were everyone's top priority throughout the entire process. We were initially greeted by the General Manager Paul Rowe who set me up right away with Mike Foster. Mike Foster was a very friendly salesperson, and was quite knowledgeable about the GMC brand and in particular, the Terrain model I was interested in. Mike handled the transaction without any high pressure tactics, or redundant sales pitch. Lastly, Richard Stempel handled the final details with finesse and was even able to obtain a better financing package than my credit union had initially offered me. Overall, this was a very good experience for my family and we are extremely happy with the outcome. I have since sent along my co-worker and brother-in-law who have both purchased within a week of my purchase.Jose DiazSatisfied 2015 GMC Terrain OwnerBoston, MA

Colonial Buick GMC
I found the sales people nice and kind. They ere helpful when I was looking to buy my first new car and had good advice which resulted in me making a perfect purchase of the best car I could afford at the time. I appreciate the help and will go back there when ready to purchase again in the future.
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
