All Car Care
I was contacted by the father in law (that's who he identified himself as) of the young lady whose parents purchased the vehicle. First and foremost the oil was changed, (since i am being accused of lying, my video cameras will prove this) so the statement that i never changed the oil is FALSE. Oil and oil filter were changed. Second of all, the tires were never swapped on that vehicle, whatever tires were on it when it was examined by the customers, and test driven on, were never taken off the car. (My cameras will also show this) so the statement of them being swapped, is also FALSE. The customers came and test drove the car, and examined it prior to putting a deposit on it. When they went on a test drive, there was no complaint of it pulling to the right, otherwise, on the lengthy test drive they took, they would have noticed that, so that statement is also FALSE. There were no mechanical defects at that time. The friend who was more "savvy" was the father in law of the daughter of the purchasers (he identified himself as her father in law), called and spoke with my service manager, and he told them about the claimed problems of the car. My service manager advised him that if there was something wrong with the engine or transmission, they are more than welcomed to bring it back to us and it would be covered under the warranty provided. He also asked the individual if he had examined the car himself, he stated that he had never even seen the car, so my manager asked him to visually inspect, and drive the car before he made claims of it being UNSAFE. I don't appreciate the fact that I am accused of being a liar, and now all of a sudden the car isn't safe according to them? Your mechanic, is also a salesman, to bring work into the shop so of course he is going to recommend repairs, so he can make a service sale and put money into his pocket. You purchased a car that was road worthy and safe, and was $2800 under blue book value that needed no repairs when you test drove it, and picked it up. Seeing as how I can prove that their claims of oil never being changed, and tires were swapped are blatantly FALSE, I believe this is a fraudulent claim against me. Accusing me of shady behavior and slipshod salesman, is something that you should refer to your mechanic as being, since he hit you with a $2000.00 repair bill. We did not take advantage of you in anyway. There was nothing wrong with the car when they picked it up. Word of advice to the customers and the individual who contacted us claiming to be "the father in law ", CAMERAS DO NOT LIE. You clearly lied on filing this claim with the Better Business Bureau about the oil change and tires, so I know for a fact you are lying about the other claims that are being made about the car, and the claims about myself. Secondly, (AS MY MANAGER STATED TO THE INDIVIDUAL WHO CONTACTED US ON THE PHONE),

I had the misfortune of totaling my beloved truck this past month. Everyone was telling me to go to Car Max so that was my game plan. After searching through Car Max's database I narrowed my choices down to 2 different vehicles. The salesman was very helpful but being the prepared buyer that I am I wanted to price shop too. During my journey I came across some incredibly pushy and downright terrible salesmen. I had experiences where I could just feel the dishonesty in the room. It became discouraging and drove me to the point where I was thinking about just buying one of the Car Max vehicles straight out. My BF recommended we check Atlantic Motors before I made any rash decisions. I contacted Atlantic Motors through the Internet and salesman Bob replied to my inquiry within the day. The deals he was showing me via email were used trucks for almost the same price as I would have bought a used one from Car Max. I couldn't believe it and had to go in for a closer examination. Turns out he went even lower than the Internet quotes he originally gave me and we cut a sweet deal. He was extremely helpful and not pushy in the slightest. You can tell by his demeanor that he knows what he is talking about and he is an honest man. I ended up purchasing my vehicle from him and I couldn't be happier. Bob walked me through every last detail and made me feel very comfortable with the entire process. I got everything I wanted (plus a few bonus features I wasn't expecting) and all for the price I began my search needing. I worked with Ed to get my financing taken care of. He was great too! Once again not pushy and told me straight up which extra insurance packages were worth it and which were a waste of my money. Bob and Ed stayed with us until almost 7 pm getting all the details together. Not once did they make us feel like they were rushing us out the door even though it was very late. This is the way car buying should be! I am very happy with the service I received at Atlantic Motors and would highly recommend them & salesman Bob to anyone searching for a newer truck.

Came here to simply test drive a few vehicles with my friend that is looking to buy a new truck. They did not pressure us at all at any step of the process. I arrived about 45 minutes earlier than my friend and browsed the outside and inside selection of trucks...not once did any salesman walk up to me to ask if I needed help. In one sense this was a good thing, but in another sense, if I was the one that was looking to buy the truck and had a question, it would have been a bad thing. It was also a little strange that none of the trucks had any prices on them, luckily you can look up their asking prices on their website, while walking around. In some instances you will see trucks on the lot that aren't on the website, and some that are on the website, but not on the lot. Don't panic, this is typical with all dealerships.I had pres-elected a truck for my friend to drive upon arrival and by the time the truck was ready my friend showed up. We both presented our driver license and a dealer plate was given to us to test drive the truck. We walked outside and upon inspection of the 1st truck, I noticed the front bumper had a large maybe 2 foot piece missing from the bottom section of it. The salesman does not go on any of the test drives with us. Following the test drive, we found the salesman and he said the bumper would be fixed by their service team if we were interested in the car. You can also put down a $500 deposit to hold any car while this process is being done.We then picked 2 additional cars to drive that were not damaged or wrecked thankfully and enjoyed driving them with no salesman since they were both manual trucks.Their schedule says they were open til 5 weekdays, but it's actually 7pm. They let us test drive vehicles until nearly 730 pm though which was cool.Upon the test drive we end up putting a deposit on the truck and picked it up the next day with the new bumper put on! Over all our experience was positive with these fellas. They seem to have what a lot of dealer do not and that is why we came to them.

Amazing dealer excellent service. I'm not getting paid to write this review I simply had a great experience and write a review for any place I go to for the first time. I took my 2007 Ford F-350 in for a fuel sensor that went bad after I bought the truck a month ago, I told Tim of a potential problem during startup. Tim then advised me that he will have the technician take a look at it. After about 1hr running diagnostics test he comes up to the office area and tells me we are giving you a loaner. Go home do whatever it is you need to do and i'll will call on the results. He calls me about 4pm tells me the fuel tank needs to come out and my vehicle will be given back to me in a week to keep the loaner until then. Loaner was a nice silver 2010 JETTA DIESEL fully loaded. After a week passed I go back for my truck and turn the loaner in. Tim hands me the paperwork to sign all the work was done completely free of charge. A few days after the work was performed and I have driven the truck I receive a call from Tim to find out how the vehicle is doing and if I had any concerns. Aswell as to ask of my experience. I must say i've written a review for a dealership experience before Trucks Capital and it wasn't a pleasant experience. They have since redeemed themselves with me but still need to fix some quirks. But this dealership Atlantic Motors clearly demonstrates the way dealers should be treating their customers. When it comes time for me to change my truck again I will highly consider remaining with Atlantic Motors just because of this great service experience. I thank Tim the adviser for the great experience at this Used Truck dealer.

Apple Auto Wholesalers of Waterbury
Our son, 20, was looking to purchase his first car. His budget was limited so we searched the internet for the best places to look. We found Apple Auto Sales and decided to visit them. Turk, our salesperson, was friendly, knowledgable and, most importantly, understanding of our son's budget limitations. He only focused on the cars that fit his budget. After test driving a couple of their cars, we decided on a 2004 VX Passat. Though this car is 8 yrs old, you would never know it. It was clean inside and out. Upon deciding to purchase it, Turk asked my husband and son to give the car another once over to see if there was anything we thought needed to be taken care of before actually picking it up 2 days later. Honestly, we could find nothing that didn't work or needed to be fixed. We then met with Travis to discuss the financing. As with Turk, Travis was friendly, knowledgable and willing to find our son the best financing he could. When we picked the car up 2 days later, it was even cleaner then it was the day we looked at it. The entire process was easy - almost too easy had I had not experienced it myself. Highly recommend Apple Auto Sales - especially Turk and Travis.

When did you ever enjoy buying a used car? Probably never but you never had the pleasure of buying a car from Dave Juliani!!! I found the dealership that had the car I wanted and then I called and got Dave on the phone. I was out of state and needed the weekend to get up to see and drive the car. No problem. The car was waiting for me days later and I took it for a drive with Dave. Dave knows cars and he was very comfortable telling me that I would enjoy this one and that it was in good condition. There was no hard sell, just answers to my questions. I bought the car that Saturday, wired funds on Monday and picked the car up last night. Everything was in perfect order exactly as promised. The paperwork was all prepared in advance and all I had to do was sign and drive away but not before thanking Dave. The car is perfect and I am glad to have done business with Dave and his staff. All nice, courteous and knowledgeable people. This is the first time I ever wrote a review on line. I just had to do it because this was great. Thanks Dave!

All Car Care
I had been searching for a car for about 3 months, going from dealership to dealership and all I wanted to do was quit. When I walked into All Car Care and met my salesman Frank that all changed. He was so personable and patient with me it really took all of the pressure off. I could just be myself, What was great is that they were so busy when I walked in so I knew that they must be doing something right when i couldn't park in front because it was full with customer cars. Cuz i'm sure i'm not alone when I say that I dread car shopping because you always feel like your being pushed into something that the salesman just picked out for you. But this experience was completely different. It took me about a week to get my dream car from there. The best part about it is that When I told him what I wanted my payments to be. And they were 20 dollars lower for the exact type of vehicle I wanted. I recommend them to anybody and everybody. I will likely never go anywhere else for a vehicle without stopping there first.

I got to know Atlantic Motors through yellow pages and their amazing reviews. I was looking for a used car on my very limited budget and I knew that I couldn't expect much.I gave few other dealers a try and first thing they did was offering me their awful financing options. At Atlantic Motors it was a completely different story, Bob took his time and patiently explained to me the choices I had WITHIN my budget. Ended up buying a 2006 Ford F-350. The price was reasonable and well around the market value one would expect.I should point out that you'd immediately realize their objective is not to just maximize their short-run profit by ripping off their customers. It has been more than a month with my "new" car and no serious problem so far. I had a small issue with the air filter, and Bob was more than helpful with it and it was resolved in no time. I have to say my experience just confirms the positive reviews of other customers. Their business plan is something to be taught to some larger dealerships.

All Car Care
i would like to respond to a review Left bt JD C. You sir, are the reason why i want to get out of the customer service industry. You called and asked if you could come and check out the truck, and inspect, which you were more than welcomed, and highly encouraged to do, prior to deciding if you wanted to purchase it or not. You found a leaky fuel line, a bad fuse for parking sensors, and tire that had 5PSI of air less than what was required. You bitched and complained about every little scratch you found. You offered me 15-16k on a truck that NADA, books out at 25k. The advertised price was 19999.00, and because i refused your offer that was 4-5k less, you decided to go online and bad mouth. Sir, you are a very horrible and ill mannered person. You showed no respect, and treated us rudely. I told you on the phone, you are more than welcomed to come and check it out, but if you were trying to get the truck with thousands off the price, please do not come. Thanks for wasting my time.

The Highline Car Connection
My son and I went to Highline Car Connection to find a car for him to drive back and forth to school. We have searched the area for about a month without any luck. A friend of mine had suggested high line so we went there to look around, not thinking we would find a car right away. They had a very large selection of cars to choose from in our price range. My son really wanted a Honda Civic and they had quite a few of them to choose from. The cars on their lot were very clean and they had five different colors and years to choose from so my son was having a hard time picking one until Peter came out to speak to us then he went through the options of the cars. Once he did that my son was ready to test drive the car, the car drove great, the price was right and we felt confident that this was the right choice so he drove off with the car that day!! We were very pleased with the no pressure approach and the friendly people that we had contact with at high line.
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
