Bars in Walnut Creek, CA
1420 Lincoln Ave
i found this place by reading an article in the paper aboiut original chicago style hot dogs and i was curious. I went there and tried it and found that it was delicious. i tried some other stuff like the crab cakes and stuffed mushrooms and they were good bar food. i mean we are at a bar after all. what makes up for it is the nice eye candy that they call bar tenders and their nice tip shirts. so, yeah i go there for the food.

Tricky to find and therefore less busy than many Creek bars downtown. Love the bouncers - attitude to the max! The art is always changing, the bartenders as always nice and attractive. Wear your opera tux or your Chuck's and t-shirt, all are a good fit for Spoontonic. If you are hungry beforehand, visit the Indian rest. above!

I stopped in for the soup & half sandwich lunch special, and enjoyed some fabulous seafood bisque and a tuna melt (it was Friday.) Then I watched my Syracuse Orangemen lose to Notre Dame in the Big East Tournament. That's what happens when you go into an Irish Sports Pub to watch your team play the Fightin' Irish. That being said, my LUNCH was fabulous, I met the owner (who is sweet), and the staff was on it. The gameroom is HUGE, and the place gets amped up for Karaoke. I will be back for some NCAA tournament games this March.

The girls who have been dancing up in those cages are freakin amazing HOTT and I dont know how they do it for so long..I'm recommeding this spot to all my friends and making sure they come out with me every Thursday!!

The food, service, atmosphere, and hospitality at this lounge-ish restaurant are hard to beat! We had never tried Turkish food before but were pleasantly surprised--everything was seasoned deliciously, the mezes were tasty, the meat was well cooked and the desserts too enticing to pass up. Our waiter was so friendly, he even taught us a few Turkish words! We'll be back soon.

I went to Masse's wanting to watch several games at one from across the country and found it all at Masse's. They were broadcasting from the Pac 10, Big 10, Big 12, SEC, ACC as well as our hometown Cal Bears and Stanford Cardinal. In addition to watching the games, there's plenty to do with pool tables, darts, table top shuffleboard, video games, etc. To top it all off, the menu is fantastic.

Went here to see one of my favorite local bands and loved it! I liked the set-up of the booths and found it to be so comfortable. They even have a pool table so that was cool. Only thing I didn't like, is you could hardly see the band players! The drummer and keyboardist were in the dark. I don't know how they played. But everyone seemed friendly and I loved seeing there are still places in WC that let local bands play still.

What a find, away from the dangers of downtown and a warm friendly clientele. Great Bartenders, have been there for ever with 3 pool tables lots of TVs and the best jute box ! A no trouble kind of place. Prices a little high, but not for Walnut Creek I guess. I LOVE THIS JOINT !

The Burger Lounge ethos is to create a great tasting burger you feel good about eating - "to do a common thing uncommonly well." It starts with 100% fresh single source American grass-fed beef. We believe that a hamburger should not only taste great, it should utilize healthy ingredients produced in a sustainable environment.

Corners Tavern is a contemporary American tavern modeled on the beloved classic English pub with food that is refined with big, bold flavors and a beverage program that respects the classics with a nod toward small production, local producers. Owner Mitchell Rosenthal and Chef Esteban Escobar are bringing big flavors to the contemporary, soulful American menu, with a focus on local, organic and sustainable ingredients. Our beverage program was developed to complement the food, while still making a bold statement on its own. We’re featuring craft breweries that are on the cutting edge, small production wineries and cocktails that are a mix of the classics and new unique creations. Corners Tavern is a comfortable and unpretentious neighborhood restaurant and is the perfect spot to enjoy a night out, whether it’s delicious bites and drinks in our lounge before a movie or after the theatre or a group dinner with your friends and family in our beautifully adorned dining room.

Best Mexican Restaurant. Ever. Period. I don't know why those other people are leaving 1-star reviews, there food is amazing, their burritos and tamales are to die for. The service is great, people almost check on you TOO much... But it makes you feel welcome. Cooks look professional, and never look stressed. Manager makes his rounds every so often to check on customers. Hard not to spend all your money there.

First of all... no, I don't work at Prima. But I've dined there about 15 times in the last year, and I was just there last week. The food is some of the most authentic regional Italian in the Bay Area (my other favorite is A16 in San Francisco). The menu changes weekly, the ingredients and the spirit of the food is top notch, the service is knowledgable and elegant, the tables are romantically lit, and the wine list is one of the most comprehensive and extensive in the Bay Area (they have a wine shop attached), and the managers are always keeping a watchful eye. If you're a foodie, don't miss this restaurant. If you're a wine lover, make sure you check out the display of large format first growths!

I've been here many times, and have never had a disappointing experience. There is a bar, and a restaurant. Both provide excellent service, the food and drinks are reasonably priced, and the ambiance is relaxed and friendly. It's a great place for a date.

The beer is good and fresh. On Tuesdaynight if you drink the featured beer you get to keep the glass... my only problem is that they allow children.

I thought this was a cool place. There is a $5 cover. The music was good. There is definately an older crowd but there are lots of places to sit and kick back with a group of friends. They have a small dancefloor and 2 pool tables in the back.

People watching and brunch - that's my 1515 preferred activity. The scene for dinner and drinks is just not my style, it's very cougar chic and fits in well with walnut creek. They are usually very busy at night and there has to be a reason they fill the house most nights.

It is always fun at The Roundup. Whether you come for the bands, karaoke or just to hang out. They have free pool and $2 beers on Tuesdays. They show Madmen and have $2 shots on Sunday nights. Every time I go it is a blast. The bartenders are all soooo nice.
1860 Monument Blvd
Just a hole in the wall bar. New owners as of 2008. Starting to put some money into it. Its getting there. Depending on your bartender drinks vary in price and can be a "good deal" or the "I won't be ordering that again" pricing.

Enter this place and be amazed - its like time stopped but everyone kept drinking and aging. This is a local bar, very small, with a lot of characters that have seen some years. They have a loyal following. It's a fun place to go to at least once and hopefully you come away with a few stories
