Kwik Kar Lube & Oil
My friend has been using this location for years always getting a regular oil change and paying between $44 and $45. She had her oil changed there yesterday. Without authorization they upgraded her to premium oil which was regular Gastrol 5w30. The up charge for the oil was $8. Then they charged her for a premium oil filter for another $8. There was also an extra charge for an extra 1.5 quarts of oil which would have been ok but when I check her oil the next morning, it was a quart low. When I brought this to the managers attention, he lied about their conversation with my friend, which made me anger, and I responded BS. He refused to make any of this right. Her invoice was $66, and it will be the last dollar they will ever get from her and me. We are also reporting this to the BBB.

Advanced Car Care
Business never changed the things that should have been changed on my vehicle total FRAUD!!!!! Had to keep bring my vehicle and stand outside till they changed the proper things that should have been changed. Front desk lady was super unprofessional and had several absurd comments. Right away when I told them that they didn't changed anything they got supper offended and started getting an attitude. I had my vehicle checked by another mechanic before coming back and he reassured me that nothing was changed when advanced car care should have done so. Do not recommend unless you want to be another car fraud victim!

Brown Auto Repair
My wife's Yukon XL needed some front end parts replaced and Brown Auto Repair had a cheaper hourly labor rate than any other shop, the parts came in at a lower price (same grade of parts as quoted elsewhere), and the work was done the same day. I couldn't have been more satisfied.

L&D Automotive
Bill and Jeremy at L & D are great. When I took my Xterra to Bill he was able to tell what was wrong without having to go through hours of costly diagnostics like most shops would. They are car enthusiasts and knowledgable to the point that chances are they will already be aware of any known issues with your cars make and model, be able to look at it on the spot and repair it accordingly. Another big plus is that if they have your vehicle you can bet they are working on it and they get it ready promptly. Another shop in town had kept my Xterra, not called to keep me updated, wasted weeks of my time and tried to convince me to waste money I didnt have, including nearly $500 on an alternator that I didnt need. So save yourself time and money and get over to L & D and let Bill and Jeremy have a look. You wont regret it.

Bill's Discount Tire Service
My husband went there to get a tire changed, and the guy said that the tire was a good and not even 30 miles on it and it blew out and damaged my truck, they said that it's not there problem and can only give a discount on a used tire. Never will we go there again.

Bill's Discount Tire Service
I will never go back. They quoted me a price on tire yesterday. When I went back the next day to get them the quote went up $200. The man said he put the quote on the back of the business card he gave me. I called him out on it because there wasn't any writing on the card. Just lost a sell. Went some where else and got better tires cheaper.
Tips & Advices
You should change your oil filter whenever you change your oil, that is, approximately every 7,500 miles.
A oil filter is a device that helps remove contaminants from motor oil as it passes through the engine. A pump pushed the oil through the filter where it is strained and goes back to the engine.
High-mileage oil contains special conditioners that are said to help prevent gaskets from drying out and thus preventing leaks. This can be beneficial to engines with many miles on them.
Synthetic oil costs more than conventional oil, but the price is offset by the need for less frequent oil changes due to the oil’s durability.
Tools needed to change your own oil include jack stands or ramps, a wrench, an oil filter wrench, an oil drip pan, funnel, replacement oil filter, and replacement oil.
