YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

9.Bob Mills Furniture

On 1/12/2017 husband and I went to Bob Mills furniture. We spent $5115.86 on a modular couch. An investment of nice furniture to last a long while now that the kids are older. We were told 6-8 weeks delivery, we'd get a call the evening before to give us a 2 hour delivery window. On 2/10 I got a call from our sales rep letting me know he could deliver on 2/21. Great! On 2/20 I got a call letting me know they got the set in, missing two pieces. They'd investigate andI'd get a call the next day about the status. Asked can he schedule a 2/25 delivery but if they got it sooner they'd get it to us sooner. 2/23 I call because I had yet to hear anything at all despite being told I'd have an update 2/21. He says corporate is in, they're investigating, likely have to push the delivery back and he'd call back that day. 2/24 there was no call back on 2/23 so I had husband call to deal with it. Apparently two of the consoles were left behind in San Antonio. They'll refund the delivery fee (about $250.00) for the headache and they'll deliver to us on 3/2. San Antonio isn't across the globe and they knew on 2/20 it was missing so to take that long was already frustrating. But it's within the 6-8 week window so whatever. We opted to not have a partial delivery because we want to inspect each piece and have them set it up all at once. Today- 3/1 I get a call. They have one of the consoles in. One is missing. He can schedule us a Saturday 3/4 delivery, or they can bring in what they have tomorrow and then bring the last piece on Saturday. I said all at once. How does one piece make it in, but not the other? I will never purchase from Bob mills again, and I certainly don't recommend anyone else buy from them. They seem super shady. No reason when they saw two missing pieces they didn't pay to have it there the very next day to honor their delivery agreement, or pay to have it there to honor the 2nd or 3rd delivery agreement. Maybe agreement #4 will be the charm.
10.Lack's Furniture Center
1002 N Loop 340
Lack's Stores, Inc., a Texas corporation, was founded in 1938 by David Lack, and is one of the largest, independently-owned retail furniture chains in the United States. Lacks is a chain of 37 retail stores and operates under the trade styles Lacks and Lacks Home Furnishings. The Company sells a complete line of furnishings for the home including furniture, bedding, major appliances and home electronics. The stores are located in South, Central, and West Texas. The nucleus of the current Company was formed on February 28, 1938, when the Lacks opened a small auto supply store in Beeville, Texas. Because of the chronic shortage of cars and new auto parts during World War II, the company diversified into furniture in an attempt to maintain sales volume. Furniture did well, and so became a growing segment of Lacks total business. In 1952, by which time the Company had expanded to five retail stores, Lacks made a commitment to become a furniture and appliance chain. It continued to carry auto supplies, tires and other hardware items at all locations, but the merchandising emphasis switched to home furnishings. The original automotive and hardware merchandise was eventually phased out in the 1970's. Today, Lacks operates 37 retail home furnishings stores in 27 cities. These stores are supported by a 380,000 sq foot state-of-the-art Distribution Center in Schertz, TX, several cross docking central delivery facilities, and a service center. According to recent surveys by Furniture/Today, an industry newspaper, Lacks sales volume places it among the top furniture retailers in the country. In 2007, Lacks was named Retailer of the Year by the National Home Furnishings Association.

I agree with the previous review that Lee Mart is not in a beautiful part of town but I was offered excellent service when I visited. I was not bombarded by sales associates but rather was allowed to shop the store. It was easy to find a helpful associate when I was ready to choose my final selections. It was an extremely stress free experience! I ended up being able to purchase ALL the furniture for my apartment at an EXTREMELY reasonable price. They even offered me same day delivery! I loved the delivery but expected them to be late, like other service providers. NOT THE CASE. My furniture was delivered EXACTLY ON TIME and the delivery men stayed to help me adapt the furniture (shelf heights etc) to my exact liking. Lee Mart really went the extra mile and I would recommend them to anyone in the Waco area!
