Metropolis Salon
I've been a patron of this salon for many, many years and have never had any of the negative experiences described by castle0816. As a matter of fact, my experiences have been excellent, great service, no long waits, notified promptly of any changes in scheduling, and I've always been treated as a valued client. I grew up in the Los Angeles area and moved to Visalia in 1978. While in L.A., I went to many high end salons, so I know what to expect and Metropolis has always had the same high standards as salons such as Eric Serena in Hollywood, one of my L.A. favorites. I highly recommend Metropolis! Love you guys!

Healthy Japan
I invited my family over for dinner and planned to pick up some Chinese food...it was a Monday and they were closed. Plan B- Healthy Japan. I got there about 4:45 p.m. hoping to get something for 12 people rather than our usual 'go to', pizza. I don't think it took them 20 min. to have 1 large chicken teriyaki tray, 1 small beef teriyaki tray and a couple of rolls. They really came through for me. Dinner was great. The woman at the counter (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) was very helpful. I was surprised they took my order as a walk in with such short notice. They may be our new 'go to'.

Glen's Mini Storage
I just began renting from Glen's storage in Visalia and I have to say first impressions mean a lot. The facility was spotless, the staff was so helpful and inviting. I felt my belongings were completely safe there. I have rented from other storage facilities before and never have I felt such hospitality. Not to mention they have the best special for first time renters and competitive pricing from there on out. I highly recommend to anyone searching for a storage facility to try Glen's mini storage in Visalia.

Acts of Beauty
Lulu is the best eyelash lady ever! Not only is she extremely loving and upbeat, but she really does care about what you want and your' opinion. Her lashes are quality and was hands down my best experience with getting my lashes done. If you want quality and someone who truly cares about what they are doing and the product they put out; Lulu is the one to see! Great prices too, especially opposed to other places.

Shanghai Chinese Restaurant
I love this place Judy and her staff are awesome. The food you get is by far the best Chinese food in town. I told so many of my friends about Shanghai that they are now going their instead of the other ones they used to go to. If your looking for a great place to go to for dinner try out Shanghai's you'll end up loving it.

Masaru's Japanese Restaurant
There teriyaki chicken bowl is the best, no doubt. Although their customer service sucks. They are really rude and when you talk to them on the phone as well, they dont really greet you. It;s as if they dont even want to be there and they hate everyone. Smile once in a while. It's not hard.
Tips & Advices
Many storage unit companies provide moving equipment that you can use to help maneuver your belongings. This equipment might be available for rental, and some storage companies will loan certain items to you at no charge. The range of options can include items such as push carts and dollies.
Storage units allow vehicle storage, and you'll typically need to rent an outdoor unit to facilitate this process. An outdoor storage unit that accommodates vehicles may have its own walls and door, or it may be a covered unit that's partitioned with wire mesh. Another option is to rent covered storage for your vehicle. With covered storage, your vehicle is stored in a space that is shared with other vehicles. These spaces are similar to parking spaces in a secure lot.
There are certain differences that separate indoor and outdoor storage units. Indoor storage units are often housed in secure facilities, and they offer perks such as climate control. These units are the best choice for sensitive and valuable items, since they offer protection from pests, weather, and intruders. Outdoor storage units are usually much larger than indoor units, and they often offer drive-up access to each unit. Outdoor storage units are excellent for storing larger items such as furniture, boats, and cars.
Storage unit rental fees do not include property insurance for stored items. Storage facilities are typically protected by insurance, but this coverage only applies to the building itself, and not the contents of the storage units. Your homeowners insurance might provide coverage for your stored items. Storage insurance is also available, and premiums typically start at roughly $7 per month for $1,000 worth of coverage.
The minimum rental period for most storage units is one month. Some storage facilities offer promotions and discounts that require a longer minimum rental period for discounts to be redeemed. For example, a storage facility might offer the first month of rental free with a two-month minimum.
