Tidewater Neurologists & Sleep Disorder Specialists
People up in front are very unprofessional and discourteous. You try to find out information about your meds and they give youall reasons why they cannot give them to you. This is the fifth day of not getting my meds reordered.

Dr. Gabriel G Werder, MD
This doctor saved my life in an emergency situation. The fact that I'm even alive to make a review is worth more than all the stars I could leave him. I'm blessed that he was there when I got into a car accident. Thank you again, Dr. Werder!

EVMS Maternal-Fetal Medicine
I have been with his group for four terrible pregnancies. I have buried four children. My advice is to find another group if you have any alternatives. It is sad they have a monopoly in this area with few other options. The biggest problem with this group is lack of communication. One might think that in a specialty, high risk group, an individual would be treated with good care. In fact most times you simply see a resident who offers little communication. Bedside manner is poor as well from the attending doctors. I have most experience with the staff at the riverside pavilion. The nurses and front desk are rude, condescending and generally unpleasant. If you can avoid this practice, that is your best bet.

Progressive Chiropractic
Dr. Ranzette cares about his patients' health and has been available after hours with an emergency. He offers a wide range of therapies with every visit instead of just a quick adjustment.

Baldassari, Cristina M, MD
Worst experience from a doctor and office we have ever had. For starters we waited about 15 minutes in the waiting room ( which is perfectly acceptable) only to be called back into an exam room to wait for 2 hours and 45 minutes ( we were watching the clock because my husband left work for this appointment). We took our daughter in for a tongue and lip tie evaluation and procedure. When the doctor finally came into the room there was no apology for the wait. She never gave us time to ask questions. She did not explain our daughters condition to us. Her exam was very rushed and hasty. We ended up only having her tongue tie clipped because she felt my daughter would grow out of the lip tie. A knowledgeable doctor would know that is not something you grow out of and it causes a TON of speach and dental problems if not taken care of at an early age. On top of it all she did not do the procedure for her tongue correctly. We went to another doctor for a second opinion who then completed the tongue tie procedure as it should have been done to begin with and did the procedure for her upper lip tie. My poor baby had to endure a tongue procedure twice as well as an additional procedure because Dr. Baldassari was not knowledgable in this area. Next time she should make sure she 1, knows what she's doing and 2, treats her patients like people instead of a number for the insurance claim. We felt she was more concerned with the quantity of patients in her office instead of quality of care. I would absolutely not reccomend her to anyone.

The New Hope Center
Sorry to say that New Hope lied to me about my husband's results to try to make more money. Jones Institute is a much better choice.
Tips & Advices
Emergency care facilities can treat infants and children. Roughly 16 percent of emergency patients are infants and children, so the medical professionals at these facilities typically have strong experience in pediatric emergency care.
The average wait time will depend on the type of emergency care facility.. Wait times typically average less than 20 minutes at an urgent care facility. At a hospital-based emergency care facility that treats life-threatening conditions, wait times can take as long as an hour or more.
Board certification is not required for emergency care facilities. However, the top facilities are often board certified. At hospitals, many emergency care centers require that their physicians be board certified as a qualification for employment. Two boards that handle this type of certification are the American Board of Medical Specialties and the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine.
Emergency care facilities include those that offer urgent care, and some urgent care facilities offer certain primary care services. At these facilities, patients are usually evaluated upon arrival, and a determination is made as to whether the problem requires emergency care, urgent care, or primary care.
Some medical tests and scans are performed at emergency care facilities. These facilities may perform select X-rays and blood tests if this is deemed necessary to assist your treatment. However, the range of medical tests and scans offered is much more limited than those offered as part of standard hospital care.
