Salon At 31st
I went to haev a 90 minute massage. It was loud, no music, closet size room and was anything but relaxing. Worse experience ever. There is no relaxing place to go after the massage and a 3 ounce cup of warm water was given to me after the massage. Should have left after the first 15 minutes but was with a group from work. Still should have left. Very unprofessional.

Twist Salon
I left this salon a 2 star review 9 months ago on yelp. I did not use any names, just pointed out the fact that they definitely run on the expensive side even for all over base color and that's why I was displeased as I felt the services rendered did not meet or even qualify the amount I paid. I even pointed out the place was very nice and clean and have friendly staff. I was wrong. Today I received a very very nasty message from one of the friends of a stylist here pointing out that because of my review I am "a waste of a human being" and I am a "c**t" and several "f*** you". This is beyond unprofessional. Having not spoken to either the stylist or said message sender for quite some time, I was quite taken by surprise as I was never anything but nice to the stylist and even tipped her well. The only reason I didn't return was because I couldn't afford $160 to get my hair dyed (not including tip!). It may be ok for some but I have a budget and that does not fit it. I contacted the owner of the salon and was met with only silence. They may be decent at hair, and overpriced, but certainly not professional.

Overpriced, they don't listen to what the customer wants and their work is horrible. One of my family members use to go there and I couldn't believe how terrible a job they did.

Sabrina's Salon
I recently had my make-up done with Sabrina, The make-up I was happy with but the hair I had to re-do on my wedding day.... I guess trials are must do. I am upset for a couple of reasons the first time I contacted her I asked her what a minimal hairstyle and minimal make-up would cost since I was trying to keep it very simple; she told me 35-50 for hair and same for make up. The second I met her she moved it up to 100.00 for both by then she found out it was for a wedding, on the day of the wedding she charged me 175.00 for a side-braid pony tail with no blow out and for make up I even brought my own eye lashes. I find that she runs this business with lack of ethics as she should've honored what she priced me with. My advice to all brides don't tell the hairstylist or makeup artist its bridal or that you are the bride they will charge you more and walk out the same as your bridesmaids.. I was mortified when I saw the back of my head it looked like a birds nest.

Heather's Hair Design
I have the worlds frizziest hair; when it rains it gets even bigger. My regular hairdresser told me my hair would really benefit from the Brazilian Blowout. I went in to Heather's and spoke to the ladies and they were all very nice. Very welcoming atmosphere. My hair expert was Michelle. She really knew how to handle my type of hair and transformed it from this frizzy mess in the first picture to the silky soft curls in the second picture. I said specifically that my bangs need to be straightened but would like to keep the natural wave on the rest. I am so pleased with the results that I am bringing my sister next week to have the same treatment. Julia

Friendly and professional atmosphere. Hair is very straight and thick which can be challenging to style. Very satisfied with results each time. Highly recommend!
Tips & Advices
Provide the landscape designer with photos of designs you find attractive and might want to emulate. Gardening and architecture magazines can be useful in this regard. It's also important to let the landscape designer know how the  space should function. For example, a space that is being used as a play area for kids will have different objectives from a space being used to entertain friends. Finally, have a clear idea of how much you are looking to spend, since this will impact the build choices made by the landscape designer.
Interior designers can generally work on every type of room, but one should not assume that all of them can work on every type of space. More complicated projects--for example those in buildings with historic preservation strictures, or those that are going for sustainability certifications--will be suited to interior designers with specific expertise. Also, interior designers that have experience in a certain type of project may not want to take on projects that are outside their expertise. For example, an interior designer who has only worked on commercial projects may not want to do a small private home.
Every interior designer has their own style, but some designers are more versatile than others. Some really do specialize in functionality and code compliance, whereas others are more focused on aesthetics. Interior decorators are completely focused on visual impact, and therefore should be reviewed and selected based on how well their style is a match for the client’s tastes.
Full-service interior design starts with an assessment of a site and the client’s long-term needs for that space. It encompasses concept design, floor plans and lighting plans, providing project specifications to contractors, supervising  contractor negotiations and installations, applying for permits, and shopping for all the materials and pieces for the project. On top of this, there are the “decorator” deliverables, i.e. creating the aesthetic of the space, selecting wall colors/covers and furniture pieces, purchasing products and installing them.
An interior designer may come into a development project very early on, working with the developer and architect from the pre-construction phase. They may be the one to design floor plans, decide where to place interior walls, and supervise contractors that are installing elements of the build. They often work on commercial projects, although many of them work on residential projects. Interior designers can “switch hats” and do interior decoration, which means they are only focused on the aesthetic elements and visual components of a residence.
