Hair We Are
Normally I go to Dupre's, however, they were all booked on the Saturday I had free to have my hair re-colored and cut so I called "Hair We Are". Upon my arrival I was greeted with friendly faces and was asked if I'd like anything to drink. Check in was simple. My stylist (Lilian) was extremely outgoing and a pleasure to have. I couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome of my hair and the relaxed, but family friendly atmosphere. Customers were coming in with their children of all ages, customers of all backgrounds even. I was very pleased seeing as normally I felt I had to be "dressed to impress" each time I went to Dupres. It felt like a down home, good, relaxing, come as you are, place. My appointment was at 2, but I did not get finished until about 530. (My hair was a wreak) My stylist said she got off at 5 and was going out of town that evening, however, did not give me that "let's hurry up and get this over with" feel at all. She made me feel like I came first, which I appreciate! (being in the customer service field myself, I know how important it is to make the customer feel that way and she A'ced it!) The turn out of my hair was hands down the BEST I've ever seen it! AND it was about $150 cheaper than I paid at the previous salon I went to!!!! Granted, at the old salon, I felt they pressured me into purchasing something each and everytime I went in, which I caved into doing. That could have led to a larger bill a bit.... All in all, I will stick with Lilian at Hair We Are and recommend her and this salon to everyone I know! YOU WILL NOT REGRET THIS PLACE!

Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting
New ownership appreciated, May 2017.My mother had the front end (bumper and headlamp) of an Acura TL repaired in the fall of 2016 after a light collision. By the time I saw it a few months later, I realized the hood looked high on the repaired side and one of the windshield wipers couldn’t be lifted up because it would hit the hood. Also the repaired headlight would shine a lot higher than the other side (like a high beam always). In addition, the headlamp shattered on its own a few months later… apparently, the installed part wasn’t very reliable. However the price was very reasonable and at casual glance, the repair looked good. So, for this repair in the fall of 2016, I’d give this Maaco 3 (of 5) stars. To their credit, I called to ask if I could take the vehicle there (6 months later!) to adjust the problems. By this point, this establishment was switching to new ownership/management, but they tried to fix the work done by the previous crew. Travis graciously refunded the amount of the headlight repair (done at another place out of town) and Justin lowered the headlight to some extent (even though the hood is still a bit higher on the repaired end.) Even though it was difficult to reach a live person when calling sometimes… For Travis’ & Justin’s willingness to repair the work of the previous crew and for his refund of the headlamp repair, I’ll give them 5 stars for giving excellent customer service. This averages to a 4-star rating overall.

Sabrina's Salon
I recently had my make-up done with Sabrina, The make-up I was happy with but the hair I had to re-do on my wedding day.... I guess trials are must do. I am upset for a couple of reasons the first time I contacted her I asked her what a minimal hairstyle and minimal make-up would cost since I was trying to keep it very simple; she told me 35-50 for hair and same for make up. The second I met her she moved it up to 100.00 for both by then she found out it was for a wedding, on the day of the wedding she charged me 175.00 for a side-braid pony tail with no blow out and for make up I even brought my own eye lashes. I find that she runs this business with lack of ethics as she should've honored what she priced me with. My advice to all brides don't tell the hairstylist or makeup artist its bridal or that you are the bride they will charge you more and walk out the same as your bridesmaids.. I was mortified when I saw the back of my head it looked like a birds nest.

The Image at Haygood
Back in 2007 Jim saw me and told a friend that he could help me with my hair. I went to Jim and was already doing the Biotin, but the best advise he gave me was to not only wash my hair but the also shower in a cool shower instead of a hot one. I now have a full head of hair and it grows so fast that I can't believe it's down the middle of my back. The people at the Image are absolutely wonderful! I would recommend Jim any day, night, or whenever to do someone's hair. I even had Jim do my hair for my wedding, which turned out beautifully. I received several compliments on my hair, not only at the wedding, but every day now. I can't say enough about Jim or the crew at the Image. I will go no where else for my hair to be done and my spouse also has Jim do his hair. Thanks again to the Image at Haygood and especially to Jim!

Chez Madeleine European Hairstyling
First- let me say I was new to the area 3 yrs ago. Finding a new salon was a nightmare in itself. I've had my fair share of salon horror stories in the past. Due to that, I would put off going to new places, the next salon was always just as bad as the last. Fast forward - when I walked into Chez I was greeted by smiles from a friendly staff. Everyone was so nice and welcomed me. Louanne was my stylist. She had some work cut out for her when I sat in her chair. She fixed all the mistakes. From all the previous salons and made me feel so much better about myself. She was very in tuned to what I needed done and where to start. She changed my color, style and confidence. I absolutely love this place and will continue to get my services through them. I will definitely recommend this salon to all my girlfriends!!

Sassy Nails
I am from out of the area. I had gel tips done before coming to the beach. I was very unhappy with them. They were too long, to thick, and too wide at the tips. And one was on crooked. I came to sassy based on the reviews and I left very very happy. Stephanie did an AWESOME job fixing my nails. She also did a great job doing a French gel. They look so much better and I'm very pleased. I'm not accustomed to getting a sugar rub massage when getting tips or fills, they do not do that back home. Whoever posted that a guy took 2 hours to do your nails, you must be mistaking this salon for another. No male techs there nor have there been in many many months....

Heather's Hair Design
I have the worlds frizziest hair; when it rains it gets even bigger. My regular hairdresser told me my hair would really benefit from the Brazilian Blowout. I went in to Heather's and spoke to the ladies and they were all very nice. Very welcoming atmosphere. My hair expert was Michelle. She really knew how to handle my type of hair and transformed it from this frizzy mess in the first picture to the silky soft curls in the second picture. I said specifically that my bangs need to be straightened but would like to keep the natural wave on the rest. I am so pleased with the results that I am bringing my sister next week to have the same treatment. Julia

Affinity Hair Studio
I live in NC and wanted to get my mother something nice for mother's day so I looked up salons and emailed a few and got prices etc. Shanna was the first to respond and when I talked to her she sounded so sincere and honest which reassured me that my mom would be well taken care of. My mom went for her appointment yesterday and I could tell by her voice how excited she was and how she really enjoyed herself. Shanna thank you so much for making this the best mother's day gift for my mom. She could not stop talking about how great you were and that she enjoyed her time with you. Plus she LOVES her new haircut and high lights. Thanks again,Gina

Chez Madeleine European Hairstyling
What a great staff! Everyone was nice from the moment I walked in the door! Ashley, the receptionist was very courteous and helpful as this was my first time to the shop. She took me to meet my stylist,Louanne who was also very friendly and professional. I asked her for a multidimensional color and to please fix my horrible haircut I had. She was able to change my color and add what looked like highlights all in one step which is great because I didn't have to be there all day! The haircut was great too! She fixed my haircut and I could tell it would be great even when it was still wet! I was so happy and I already booked my next appointment!!
Tips & Advices
Using a variety of tools and processes, many of which require specialized training, auto body mechanics primarily repair cosmetic and structural damage to vehicles after accidents occur. They can also enhance a vehicle’s appearance and performance by replacing and adding new parts to a vehicle’s body.
This depends on the severity of the work that needs to be done. Something such as paintless dent repair for a few small dents can take an hour. Whereas auto body repairs for damages caused by a major accident can take multiple days to correct.
All auto body parts can be repaired but there is a threshold for the level of repairs possible. Parts can be damaged beyond repair and would need to be wholly replaced.
Auto body parts can be made from a wide variety of materials, usually based on what the part’s purpose is. Vehicle frames body panels, bumpers, roof racks, and other items that need to be strong and durable are usually constructed from steel, which is known for its durability and resistance to rust and high temperatures. But aluminum is quickly becoming a popular material of construction due to its lightweight yet durable nature. Body kits and other aftermarket parts like spoilers and hoods can be constructed from one form of plastic or another.
Yes, the vast majority of car makes and models have aftermarket parts available for many of their components. But higher-end vehicles typically have less aftermarket parts available since they often use specialized materials and manufacturing processes that are difficult to duplicate for many aftermarket manufacturers.
