Jody's Windshield Repair
My wife and I was in need for a windshield repair ASAP!! Due to her being failed because of 2 10 inch cracks we were looking at about $400 through Safelite but Jody's Repair saved us alot of money. I must say, THEY ARE AMAZING PEOPLE and they have ALOT of knowledge about windshields. We never felt pressured nor scammed and we felt so at home with their services. I recommend EVERYONE here. Thank you for helping my wife get her Chrysler 200 looking brand new. We really appreciate your patience, time and expertise. Very Respectfully,The Fletchers

Automotive Remedies
I've been bringing my car to them for years now. What I love about them is that plenty of times I've brought the car in thinking there was a huge problem, and they could've charged me a couple hundred dollars doing nothing, but instead they were honest and didn't charge me at all. The first time I came in was when one mechanic shop wanted to charge me five hundred dollars for some non-issue. I brought the car to Automotive Remedies for a second opinion and told them what the first shop said. That's how I found out that the first shop had made up the name of a part and was going to do nothing. My cars been running fine for years after, so it seems that Automotive Remedies was right. More recently, I brought my car in thinking that I had a radiator leak due to stains on my driveway. The head mechanic, Damion, showed me that it was actually my condenser and didn't charge me a dime. Again, they could've charged me anything, but they chose to be honest instead.

Xtreme Detailing LLC
I purchased a used car. It really needed some help in the filthy department. I took it to Xtreme. The people there where GREAT! Very knowledgeable. I had no idea how much thought went into a proper car detailing. The car looked awesome when they where done. The best part was when I returned to the dealer to pick up my plates and saw the look on the sales guy's face. Priceless. If they used Xtreme before they sold it they may have been able to sell for a $1,500 more. I will say that Xtreme is relatively expensive but you get what you pay for.

Used Tire Depot
I would not recommend this business to anyone. The owner is rude & extremely unprofessional. My boyfriend had ordered a part for his car last week. It still hadn't come in as of yesterday, so he went to see what the issue was. The owner told him he ordered through an employee who had quit a couple days previous. Proceeded to tell him he wasn't getting his part because said person quit on him. My boyfriend asked for his money back, the owner refused. Starts yelling, in front of other customers, & told my boyfriend to "step outside". He continued to yell & got up in my man's face. Told him again he wasn't getting his $&!%}* money back. & there's nothing we can do about it. I've never heard so much disrespect. He should NOT be running a business.

Used Tire Depot
I will never recommend this place to anyone. The owner Tony, treated me in the most disrespectful way. Don’t get me wrong. I support locally owned businesses. After all having your own business is not easy. Specially competing with big corporations. I will start by saying that I ended up at the Used Tire Depot because I was helping my sister who had a flat tire and ended up stranded by the road with her children. Of course she called me very frantic and I rushed over there. After receiving help from my niece’s friend and his father, employees from the tire shop next door, Tread Quarters, helped us put the spare tire on free of charge. My sister did not exactly expected this situation as you can relate when you suddenly have a flat tire. We were told about an used tire place by Rosemont Rd so we went there. Keep in mind I am helping my sister and I followed her as a precaution. As we got there the place was busy. We parked and a middle age man was taking the orders from customers and as soon as I tried to approach him he told me he was busy. I just though he was rushed, busy. By the time he talks to us in a very rushed manner me and my sister explain to him that we need the back tire of the passenger side. I don’t know you, but before I spend money I like to look at the options I have. The man (Tony) quickly told us that he would have to look if he had a tire for her type pf vehicle and just walked away. Mind you I had seen him taking his time with a young client. He explained to her that he had Tires A the newer ones, B the not so new and c the lower quality and cheapest. I was expecting the same level of customer service. After all we were there to buy a tire. The man comes back with two tires and shows us just one. He then tells us is $40.00. My sister was silent and I could tell she was debating whether to buy it. As a customer we all like to see our options. I asked him $40.00? The truth the tire did not look that great. This whole exchange lasted not even a minute when he very abruptly told us: “I got to go the phone is ringing,I don’t have time for this” and he turned away and left. Now we were baffled. Did he seriously treated us in such a disrespectful matter? My sister asked me what happened. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. I went back were he was showing the younger lady a tire. I told him ‘Excuse me I think I might have misheard what you said. He then very quickly and without missing a beat told me: No you didn’t I told you it was $40.00 and you started complaining and I am running a business” Well I had it by then, and as soon as I started talking he told me he was going to call the police. No you didn’t read it the wrong way. He threatened to call the police. All I had managed to say was “As a customer.. With that my son got really upset witnessing this man treating me in such a derogatory way. I had to calm him down and we left. The funny part is that I was there trying to help my sister and I got humiliated. As I called some friends it turns out the man is the owner. Well if that is how he runs his business I want nothing to do with his business. Good news we went to Walmart and for $30.00 my sister got a brand new tire with a warranty.

Hall Honda
If there was a rating for "0" stars then that's how I would rate Hall Honda Service department. I have been a customer for +10 years. The service department has gone downhill over the last few years. Anthony, my service representative, was rude and nonchalant. The service department did not repair my car correctly. I was lied to about the repairs and the service manager was useless in resolving the issue and most of all he didn't stand by his word and deliver the service he promised me. I will never take my car there again.
Tips & Advices
Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
Costs of replacing a windshield can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors:
  • Vehicle make and model
  • How much of the cost insurance will cover
  • Whether the windshield installers come to your location or you bring the vehicle to them
  • Standard service costs of the windshield installers
Generally, newer and higher-end vehicles cost more to have their windshields replaced because certain manufacturers use modified or proprietary glass types.
