Zero - on a scale of 1 to 10! Customers don't matter only your money and the more they can bleed out of you...the better. It doesn't even matter how...the goal...just take as much of your money as possible! It is astonishing how these business practices can be legal. This property is poorly managed and they do everything they can to over-charge the customer. Our rate went up each year that we were renting from them until it was well over the actual listed price for the unit. We fully expected a rate increase to occur annually however we never expected to be price gouged. When questioned, the staff only passed the buck for months. Finally after demanding that they address the issue we were given (the run around yet again) a phone number to call only to leave four messages and after more than a week we had no return call. When I was finally able to speak to the management I was told that new customers are given better rates than loyal customers that have conducted business with them for years and "that's just the way it is". Only if I were to go through the inconvenience of coming in and moving the entire contents of my unit to another unit (of the exact same size) then they could honor the list price to me. So, as a loyal and long standing customer, I am discriminated against when it comes to the price of storing my belongings. This is ridiculous. Obviously, a promotional rate or sale price cannot be given to every existing customer or matched at any random time however when a rate is listed as a standard rate (no promo or sale) and it is for the same amount of space (unit size) and on the same property but cannot be honored to all customers equally I feel this is unethical. This is extremely poor business and completely unfair to the customer. Please don't allow this business to take your money!

Mike and Alice are exceptional GREAT people!...very service oriented and thoughtful people.Britney was filling in Friday as the Residence Manager were on vacation and she didn't know my name, but yet: we became best friend by the time I left. I paid my bill and she was very professional, courteous and got me in and out. I have been there for 18 months and never had a problem with anyone, the staff is friendly, the renters are very nice people. I would highly recommend it.AND!: I have never had an attempt on my Unit being broken into...it is very, very, very safe and at the end of that day....that is what counts., but the service makes it a wonderful place to do business at.

Fort Storage
I had a great experience with the manager Ashley at Fort Storage. She was very informative and the facility was very clean! Would definitely recommend to other people in need of storage or a U-Haul.

Jack Rabbit Storage
We used these guys before - once for business and once for storing our personal belongings. We have been happy with both transactions. The people are really a big help and they are the difference between jack rabbit and their competitors. It's one of the main reasons we keep coming back to store with them. TY

Jack Rabbit Storage
Affordable, efficient, and got the job done. We moved from a third floor apartment in a building into our new storage space; they were happy to help recommend the perfect size space that we would need to fill all of our stuff. Would use again.

Jack Rabbit Storage
I have been stationed at Norfolk Naval on a few different tours and each time I am out I use jack rabbit to store my car. They offer pretty decent rates, insurance and they have locked gates plus security on site. Recommend these guys if you need storage for your car or other.
Tips & Advices
Many storage unit companies provide moving equipment that you can use to help maneuver your belongings. This equipment might be available for rental, and some storage companies will loan certain items to you at no charge. The range of options can include items such as push carts and dollies.
Storage units allow vehicle storage, and you'll typically need to rent an outdoor unit to facilitate this process. An outdoor storage unit that accommodates vehicles may have its own walls and door, or it may be a covered unit that's partitioned with wire mesh. Another option is to rent covered storage for your vehicle. With covered storage, your vehicle is stored in a space that is shared with other vehicles. These spaces are similar to parking spaces in a secure lot.
There are certain differences that separate indoor and outdoor storage units. Indoor storage units are often housed in secure facilities, and they offer perks such as climate control. These units are the best choice for sensitive and valuable items, since they offer protection from pests, weather, and intruders. Outdoor storage units are usually much larger than indoor units, and they often offer drive-up access to each unit. Outdoor storage units are excellent for storing larger items such as furniture, boats, and cars.
Storage unit rental fees do not include property insurance for stored items. Storage facilities are typically protected by insurance, but this coverage only applies to the building itself, and not the contents of the storage units. Your homeowners insurance might provide coverage for your stored items. Storage insurance is also available, and premiums typically start at roughly $7 per month for $1,000 worth of coverage.
The minimum rental period for most storage units is one month. Some storage facilities offer promotions and discounts that require a longer minimum rental period for discounts to be redeemed. For example, a storage facility might offer the first month of rental free with a two-month minimum.
