Very misleading office staff. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. I have no insurance. Sandy quoted $37 cleaning $19 exam and $25 xray so I make an appt for May8. Now 2 month later, Ashley quotes $69 cleaning $45 exam and $30 xray.

Awesome! Cheers to the entire staff. I was so afraid when I went to the dentist and thought I would have to be put to sleep. To my surprise the doctor was very gentle and the assistants really comforted me. I am very please and I will be going back.

I have been going to Villa Rica Family Dental for almost 3 years now. Dr. Chang is great at what she does. Her staff is very friendly, professional, and knowledgable. The office was extremely neat and clean. My son loves her as well. He loves getting the Chick-fil-a certificates. I have never had a bad experience with Dr. Chang or her staff. I would recommend Dr.Chang to anyone looking for a dentist in the area.

I have been going to Dr. Chang for over 3 years now after I moved to Georgia from Florida. Dr. Chang has ALWAYS been so caring and understanding to my needs and toothaches. I have needed extensive dental work done. She has always provided me with different dental options which are exactly what they are... options.... she has never tried to push any treatment on me. My 6 year old now also goes to Dr. Chang and LOVES her! He loves getting his Chick-Fil-A free ice cream or a little prize. I also agree with another review, I do agree with their policy and do not think that the parents should go back with the kids. Kids always seem to do better with their teachers then with their parents... there is not any difference with the dentist in my opinion.Nethertheless, I would recommend Dr.Chang to everyone I know!!

This is the best place to go. I got jerked around by others before, Dr. Chauhan, I love!Honestly Love, I have been a cash paying customer, they are upfront about fees. They create a plan to get the job done. He is an awesome dentist, his team is awesome, and friendly. If you need a good detnist with upfront assessment of fees, Come here, you wont regret it.

After the sudden death of my regular dentist of over 30 years, I found myself searching for a new dentist for my annual cleanings and any future dental needs. Dr. Jamey Chang was recommended to me and I found her office to be very professional, modern, friendly and comfortable. I have been most happy with Dr. Chang and her staff. However, recently I became more confident that I chose the right dentist when I chose Villa Rica Family Dental. I fell chipping one of my two front teeth and causing trauma to a second. This accident occured over the weekend. I was waiting at the door of Dr. Chang's office on Monday morning where she and her staff immediately began to take care of me. She quickly assessed the damage and began the repair process to the broken tooth and treated the second traumatized tooth with antibiotics anticipating a root canal at a later date. The broken tooth required a crown. Dr. Chang worked diligently to get the shading for my crown to the perfect shade to match my other teeth. She would accept nothing less than perfection until the exact shade was reached. I was very impressed at the time she took to make sure there was a perfect match. I know she had other patients, but she always made me feel as though I was her only concern. Also, she later determined a root canal could be foregone on the traumatized tooth and treated it with a crown only. I appreciated her honesty here where she could have easily charged me more for this additional service by performing a root canal plus the crown, but rather she chose the best method for me as a patient. Dr. Chang is not only a good dentist, but a good person. I am very happy to tell people Dr. Jamey Chang is my dentist and highly recommend her and her office staff at Villa Rica Family Dental!
Tips & Advices
  • Pick Your Plan: Most people purchase three main varieties, usually through their employers.
    • An indemnity or fee-for-service plan means you'll have to pay for annual deductibles and co-insurance payments out of pocket.
    • A preferred provider organization is less costly, and you choose from a network of dentists. However, PPOs have some limitations and accompanying deductibles.
    • A dental health maintenance organization plan limits you to just a few choices of dentists, and one doctor handles all of your oral care needs. However, these HMO are usually much less costly.
  • PPO plans and dental HMOs work with only a select number of doctors. While that usually means fewer costs, it also means you have less choice in the dentist who can treat you Before purchasing the plan, you'll receive a list of dentists in each network. From there, you can then pick a plan with doctors who meet your standards and requirements.
  • When picking a plan, you need to look at just how much you'll pay for each and every service. For instance, some plans won't cover your fillings or X-rays, while others may charge more or less for a crown or tooth extraction. You don't want to be caught off-guard by unforeseen charges.
  • If you're truly comfortable with a dentist and you feel he or she can be an ally in your ongoing oral care regimen, then consider signing a plan to just keep that dentist available. That means potentially deal with costs and other insurance-related factors that you might have wanted to. If need be, you might be able to work with the dentist's office to address some of the plan-specific concerns.
  • Ask family, friends or colleagues for recommendations. They will be able to provide details about a dentist's demeanor, operating style and approach to patient care
  • Meet with any prospective dentists to ask about what treatments they perform most often, procedures they're not as familiar with, what accreditation they have or any organizations they belong to and how their offices handles insurance and payments.
  • Consider driving distance, location and office hours.
  • Check With Your State Board: The state board can outline what requirements your dentist must meet and offer information about any discrepancies in the their background and if he or she has faced any disciplinary actions.
  • Remember Your Angles - When brushing your teeth, always place the brush at a 45-degree angle..
  • Don't Forget the Tongue – Your tongue is the largest source of bacteria. Brush it front to back and don't forget the sides.
  • Floss Everyday - Each time you floss, have at least 18 inches of floss available. For optimal control, hold the floss between your thumbs and forefingers.
  • Watch What You Eat - Sugar, alcohol and coffee contain phosphorus. While some can prove beneficial, too much of this chemical can eat away at your teeth and gums.
  • Keep in Mind the Mouthwash - Mouthwash can be helpful if used to supplement proper brushing and flossing. Most mouthwash brands contain chlorine dioxide, a chemical that targets the majority of oral bacterial strains.
Yellow teeth are the result of a number of bad habits, mainly smoking, drinking too much coffee and improper nutrition. Many dentists will treat with a whitening procedure.
These painful bumps are the result of irritation to the soft tissue of your mouth. These sores can make brushing almost impossible. There are a number of different causes for sores, including anemia or a vitamin B-12 deficiency. Your doctor will have to examine the bump, find its cause and then develop a specific treatment plan, including the use of corticosteroids to reduce inflammation or antimicrobial mouthwash.
