McDaniel Roofing
Hello, I am just now seeing this fake/negative review. This home was roofed by McDaniel not the copper flat front porch that continued to leak as I have many photos to prove him wrong. I specifically asked him to get a 3rd party License roofer of his choice to get a second opinion and this is what I get. This will be printed out for my attorney to review with photos of the stress cracks in the copper joints that appears to be more than 40 years old. If his false review is not corrected by the end of June 2017 he will be reported. It Sad this individual wants attention by posting false negative information. Hope you received your GAF warranty from north americas largest roofing manufacture and didn't loose it. You could contact them because there is a 2 year 100% workmanship warranty on the roof of your home. Guess you didn't go that rout because its not the shingle roof thats failing. R. McDaniel
Tips & Advices
The most common types of roofing material are:
  • Asphalt shingles
  • Metal roofing
  • Slate shingles
  • Concrete roofing
Metal roofing material and algae-resistant asphalt shingles are the appropriate roofing material for rainy climates.
Houses located in  areas which are prone to wildfires, should avoid the use of flammable roofing materials such as wood shingles.
Not only should you ask to get in contact with past clients, it is also recommended that  homeowners visit projects currently underway to see how the contractor or company actually performs during a job. You can also go online and check out other customer reviews.
Reputable roofers do offer a warranty against poor workmanship. Additionally, the material used often carries a warranty from the manufacturer against defects (assuming proper installation). It is the homeowner’s responsibility to check on the availability of all such warranties before any work is performed.
