Sage Plumbing
Paid Sage plumber $1,175 to repair a sewer backup. He gave me a 10 year guarantee. Over the next 4-5 months I had to call him back 5-6 times, since the backup continued unabated. Eventually, he just stopped answering my phone calls and text messages. He never corrected the problem! Ultimately, I called in another party, and they fixed the problem in 2-3 hours. No further problems. Sage Plumbing gave me a $400 refund on my $1,175 payment. It would be absolutely foolish for anyone to trust or utilize this outfit, based on my experience with them

Power Wash USA
First time I used this contractor to power wash my manufactured home.Showed up on time as promised, went to work immediately, did a little more than expected without any additional charge and finished in a very reasonable amount of time. He far and away exceeded other power wash contractors I have used in the past as to time and quality of the work performed. I will certainly use this business again and highly recommend him to anyone that asks.

Conrad's Cleaning Service
We used them to clean the carpets in a property that we had just purchased and had not lived in yet. The owner and her team are very helpful and friendly. They go out of their way to provide excellent customer service. They pay attention to every detail and respect the customer's wishes. I recommend them highly.
Tips & Advices
  • Are you licensed and registered?
  • Are you insured and bonded?
  • How many years have you been in business?
  • What, if any, professional associations do you belong to?
  • May I have a list of references?
  • Do you offer a written warranty for your work?
  • Will I need a permit for this work?
It is important to have a written warranty for any work or repairs done to the plumbing in your house, especially if it is a major repair. Look for a professional  who is willing to  stand by his or her work.
Before you hire a plumber, contact their past customers if you're able to. These people can be a wealth of information if you ask them the right questions. Pose the following queries to these former patrons when you get the chance:
  • Were you pleased with the work done?
  • Was the project completed on time?
  • Did the plumber give you a written warranty and guarantee his or her work?
  • Were there any unexpected costs that arose?
  • Would you hire this plumber again? If not, why?
A permit provides added assurance that the work is done correctly. Having this in place means an inspector will check the work your contractor or plumber does to ensure he or she did the job correctly. If you plan on putting your house or commercial building on the market, a real estate agent and prospective buyers will want to check any large work you did to make sure it was done properly.
A trustworthy plumber will have both commercial liability insurance as well as be bonded. The insurance and the bond protects the plumber from paying for any damages made to your house out of pocket. Having professionals that carry both of these policies can protect all of you from any mishaps that could occur while they work on your building.
