Menz & Battista
Divorcing one's spouse is one of the most personal and trying thing you may ever do. I could not have selected a more accomplished, compassionate attorney than Jeff Battista. From my first numb days of having no idea what I would do or where I would go, Jeff was there with an informed but sympathetic guiding hand. He is beyond personable and even in the most difficult and emotional time, he can help you stay focused on the ultimate goal. For me, that was a divorce that provided a new, healthy, and safe environment for me and my two children. He surprised me in court on more than one occasion, always intercepting falsities and questioning everything. His knowledge of Florida divorce law is impeccable. Every time I walked out of the courtroom, I felt relief. It also must be said, that his staff and paralegal (Korie) are some of the most understanding and supportive professionals you may ever come across. Jeff and his staff have given me more than I can write in 4000 characters or less. Well, I suppose I can express to you one last thing; it sure felt good walking away a victor.

Benincasa Law Firm
My husband and I had a very good experience with this law firm. They were honest and for the most part forthcoming about all of the expenses we could expect with a few exceptions. They even took my husband down to the Immigration office 50 miles south of us when I was unable to drive him. They were very organized and the immigration process went very smoothly. They soothed our fears and nerves very well, even when we weren't exactly patient at all times. I would absolutely recommend this law firm for any person who needs help with Immigration matters.

Robert J Kulas PA
We formed a Living Trust with Robert Kulas Firm almost 20 years ago. Over the years we have updated some pages. At times when questions arose, Robert was approached by the two of us for reassurance about the directions we were going. He did just that. Then there was necessary help and contact needed regarding an insurance issue. Jeff helped us with that. We have seen the firm grow over the years and we were often helped so that we have felt as though we were dealing with family. We have been very comfortable with the relationship.

Keith Bregoff Attorney
This firm is astounding to figure with. Their obvious expertise and expertness created Maine feel very snug with them handling my case. I ne'er felt like i used to be simply a "paycheck for them" however rather felt that they took a sincere interest in my case and my scenario. I ne'er had a problem obtaining a hold of the workers and searching for what was happening. nobody desires to want their services, however you will certain be glad of theirs if the unfortunate will happen.

Keith Bregoff Attorney
Not guilty! I was charged with two misdemeanors. If convicted, I would have lost my job. Keith Bregoff took my case to trial and I was found innocent of all charges. He charged me a reasonable fee and always answered my questions in a clear and straightforward manner. He truly did a great job in the court room. I could even tell that the Judge was impressed with her understanding of the law and the way she explained my case to the jury. I can't thank her enough.

All The Things I Did Not Know. It’s surprising how little we actually know about estate planning. Through the Kulas Firm I have received an education, a very valuable one at that. Without their help I could have made some terrible mistakes that would have affected my future and my wishes. We have dealt with Mr. Kulas for the past eleven years and I feel so confident now knowing my affairs are in order. Thank you, Mr. Kulas and your wonderful staff.

Keith Bregoff Attorney
Personal Injury Attorneys helped me as I was a victim of someone else's carelessness! Apparently time is of the essence when it comes to filing your personal injury claim, so it's vital that you contact a personal injury lawyer as soon as possible after the accident to ensure that you don't forget any of the details surrounding the incident and, that you are well within your state's statutory guidelines for filing a claim. Thanks guys!

Called many local attorney's with a simple question. Most were to busy, some wanted money for a phone consult, but Jeff Batista got on the phone immediately and took five minutes out of his day to help me. He answered my question honestly, even though it meant that I would not be needing their services. Quick and honest, seemed knowledgeable, and most of all was available. If I need help in the future, they will be my first call.

Caldarone Maria Attorney At Law
I highly recommend Maria Caldarone as a very compassionate person and a highly professional bankruptcy attorney. She advised and represented us in a personal bankruptcy due to our current economy. She helped us achieve a new financial start. We only wish, we would have called her sooner. Call her for financial advice on any topic, you will be very happy with her personal service, expertise and her attention to details.

Keith Bregoff Attorney
I have an unbelievable expeirence with Keith Bregoff. This was the second time that i have had to hire a lawyer for an accident. i went with a smaller firm the first time around. that was not a bad exprience but it was so much better this time around. no matter how many times i called with questions, the people at Keith Bregoff were always right there to assist me in getting answers.
Tips & Advices
When it comes time to choose a lawyer, you should start by searching close to home. If you do have attorneys you are familiar with, ask who they believe would be best for you. After going through personal references - especially from individuals who had similar needs - you should broaden your search through public information resources. You can call your area's attorney referral service or check legal organizations like Martindale-Hubbell. There are other resources available online, such as yellowpages.com. You can check websites for client reviews and other third-party forms of approval.
If you sign documents and you come across a word you don't recognize, or you need help to navigate important employment or real estate paperwork. Also, during times when personal matters intersect with legal proceedings, you might need to have an advocate to prevent your emotions from getting in the way. If you've been accused of a crime or are in a terrible financial situation, you can find an attorney who will work with what you have available.
When you hire a lawyer, you're agreeing to work with someone over a certain period of time. The more forthcoming the lawyer appears to be with individual needs, the better.
  • You need to ask questions about how the attorney will communicate with you and what responsibilities you hold in the relationship.
  • The attorney should let you know the best channel for quick communication and you need to inform him or her when you want updates.
  • You should also ask questions to get to know the attorney as an individual in order to ensure this is a person you can trust. Ask about their legal philosophy and how he or she views the lawyer/client relationship. Ask as how to keep fees down or what daily disruptions you should expect from a long legal battle.
You need to ask about every possible fee that will come up when working with an attorney. You should request a list of all costs in advance so you won't be surprised by additional expenses like overhead. Also determine exactly when you will start being billed. You want to inspect paperwork carefully. If the attorney charges you for his or her experience, you need to make sure he or she will perform tasks personally and not hand it off to an assistant. Find out if the attorney has a flat fee or charges by the hour. Many civil lawyers work on contingency. Make inquiries about how the lawyer plans to provide service for your money and what you can do if you start to feel unsatisfied with his or her performance.
You can ask how many similar cases they have handled and if they have special skills or training that applies specifically to your needs. Lawyers can't mention clients by name, but you should ask for basic details about identical past cases. You should check their office for the appropriate certifications and diplomas. You can also ask how long he or she has practiced law and request information that demonstrates the practice's success. Look for precise details such as percentage of cases settled out of court.
