Royal Palm Auto Repair Inc
I have been dealing with Royal Palm for close on 20 years. Have recommended him to many and all were satisfied. Just the other day my car had a problem on the weekend, but he is closed. I brought it to one of those "chain shops" and got an estimate for 439.23, Ouch. Fortunately they could not find the parts they wanted on a weekend and said to bring back Monday and leave for a day or two. Monday morning I went to Royal Palm and after hoisting and inspecting, he solved the problem with one part, and out the door for less than 100.00.. He is good and knows his stuff. for my money and many others I know, he can't be beat. Try him and you will see.. A happy camper.

I bought my 2010 Ford Escape from J&R. Service was friendly and the process was quick. They got me financed and a great rate even with my low credit scores. My sales person was bilingual so it made things easier. Highly recommended. -Jarrod

Keith's Oil Can
I've already had issues with this company a few years back, but I needed an oil change quick so I thought I would give it a shot. Once I left and was on my way to 95 to go south for the day I noticed my hood was not closed completely. I pulled over and closed it, then tried to lift the hood to make sure it was indeed closed. When I did this I stuck my hand in hot antifreeze. My radiator cap was not closed completely and sprayed antifreeze everyone.I went back and explained this issue to the manager at the time, who seemed very bothered to help me, and told him I wanted a refund for the work. He said that he would have to call the manager and would get back with me. According to the manager, he would only give me a $20 coupon for future work because after all of these issues he thinks I actually want to come back. Bottom line, almost putting my life in danger and then trying to say it was my fault, is only worth a $20 coupon.
Tips & Advices
It's possible to stop a car alarm without the remote. One approach is to disconnect the car's battery, which needs to be disconnected long enough to allow the vehicle's computer to reset. The time required for this to occur varies from vehicle to vehicle, but a safe bet is to leave the battery disconnected for an hour.
Adding a car alarm will not impact a automobile warranty, provided the alarm is installed in a way that doesn't cause damage to the vehicle. Vehicle damage can sometimes occur if you install the alarm yourself. To preserve a warranty, it's a good idea to have a car alarm installed professionally.
It can be quite difficult to self-install a car alarm if you lack extensive experience in electronic circuitry. Installing a car alarm involves soldering, drilling, wire cutting, and the use of a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with any of these tasks, it's best to have your car alarm installed by a trained professional.
A car immobilizer is a security device that prevents the car's engine from running without the presence of your key or key fob. Advanced car immobilizers will send an alert if an attempt was made to start a car without your key. Car immobilizers are automatic, and they do not require activation.
A shock sensor is a sensor used by a car alarm to detect hits and impacts to a vehicle. Vehicle theft often involves an impact such as the smashing of a car window. A shock sensor picks up on this impact and sends an alert to a car alarm's computer.
