PT'S/FAMILIES (MEMBERS)!!!BEWARE THAT WHEN YOU ARE BEING DISCHARGED AND THE NURS/DR RUSHES YOU TO SIGN OFF ON THE DISCHARGE PAPERWORK IN SUCH A RUSH W/O READING IT. THEY ACTUALLY WRITE THAT THEY DID THINGS AND GAVE YOU RX'S W/O THAT BEING THE CASE. THEY ARE LIARS AND DICIEVERS. I BELIEVED GOING TO AN ER FOR SOMETHING I WOULD BE TREATED W.RESPECT. NOT THE CASE INSTEAD THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO GIVE ME A LIST OF CLINICS THAT MY NEW INS WOULD ACCEPT. THEN THE NURSE WAS RUSHING ME TO SIGN THE COPY OF WHAT SHE GAVE ME. I GET HOME TO REVIEW THE SO CALLED LIST'S OFF CLINICS. NOT ONE!!!! INSTEAD IT SAID THEY GAVE ME MEDICATION AND I SAW THE ER DR AND HE PROVEDED ME INSRUCTIONS. THAT'S FAR FROM THE TRUTH. INSTEAD I SAT OUT IN THE WAITING ROOM NEVER STEPPING FOOT IN THE ER NOR TO EVEN SEE AN ER DR!!! WOW WHAT YOU THINK A PLACE TO GET HELP IS A SHAM!!!! WHEN I CALLED TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS THE NURSE SAID,"OH THAT'S AN AUTOMATIC PRINT OUT EVERYBODY GETS THESE." YOUR KIDDING ME RIGHT!!!!!! PT'S BEWARE BECAUSE WHAT YOUR SIGNING OFF IS THAT YOU RCVD ALL THE CARE FROMTHE DR AND THE NURSES AND HAD ALL YOUR ANSWERS/CONCERNS EXPLAINED. FLAT OUT LIE!!!! I WILL NEVER EVER ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN. THE NEXT DAY I CALLED THE ER DIRECTOR AND LEFT A MSG TO RETURN MY CALL. DO YOU THINK SHE CARED TO CALL ME? NOT!!! IT'S ALL ABOUT RIPPING OFF THE PUBLIC IN NEED AND THE SYSTEM.

Hall Jill C MD FACOG
If I could give this office a ZERO I would.First let me explain - I went to this doctor as a referral. I have a trans vaginal mesh implant that is cutting me inside - is eroding. I am IN EXTREME PAIN. So I go to the ER - they refer me to another clinic - I go to that clinic - and they refer me to Dr. Hall's office. Now... I'm on Medi-Cal - and was supposed to be on Gold Coast - on the first of February - they were told that directly on the phone. Hall is supposedly the only person in town that has dealt with the type of mesh implant that I have. My lesbian partner and I go to the office and I fill out information. I had told them I was on medi-cal - and was getting Gold Coast on the First - they gave me an appointment for Friday which was 5 days away. I waited and stayed completely medicated because I feel like I'm getting sawed in half and I'm terrified of losing my bladder and other organs (THIS CAN BE A LIFE THREATENING SITUATION) - so I go there - fill out all their information - and they say they cannot take Medi-Cal - and need my Gold Coast Card - although - they already knew I did not have it. So they tell me I will have to pay this astronomical fee in CASH - EXCUSE ME??? Why the hell do you think I got medi-cal? Really? I can't work right now - I'm in severe pain.So I go through the run around with medi-cal and Gold Coast and after several hours I get my gold coast id number. I call them back - and tell them the number the receptionist is really rude - and tells me that they need the Gold Coast Card - I tell her they can verify it - and that they can call them - they said they have NO VERIFICATION system and they don't normally take that kind of thing. I say fine - I should have the card by monday (according to Gold Coast I should have it)Anyhow - I ask her to please get me an appointment as soon as possible - and she says - we don't have anything until March now.EXCUSE ME????!!! March? I'm getting cut open by an internal mesh implant and she's the only person I've been referred to that can do the mesh removal surgeries... I tell the receptionist to "F" off - because that's BS - and it's probably because we're a Gay couple... Or they think Medi-cal is for "POOR PEOPLE" who don't deserve medical care...Either way - this is the worst treatment I've ever seen by a doctor's office and I wouldn't suggest their services. I'll find someone to deal with my medical stuff - because there are major lawsuits and a class action lawsuit for this TVT gynecare mesh implant... But if I lose anything (my bladder, my sexual feeling - or if it is cutting any organs internally) I will always feel that it is this doctor that allowed that to happen.Aren't Doctors supposed to heal people? Not send them away based on their own issues...I get money being needed - but when it comes to a life - or organs or emergencies - don't you think they should go that extra mile for someone? I've paid my bills - I have worked hard all my life - and at this very moment I cannot. I'm not some scum bag.I should have never been treated this way.
Tips & Advices
A child should see his or her pediatrician frequently during the first few years. Once the child reaches age 3, parents should schedule a doctor's visit at least once per year. Before that, however, the American Academy of Pediatrics suggests parents arrange visits according to the following schedule:
  • 2 to 5 days old
  • 1 month old
  • 4 months old
  • 6 months old
  • 9 months old
  • 12 months old
  • 15 months old
  • 24 months old (2 years)
  • 30 months old (2.5 years)
No, parents should call 911, an emergency physician, or a pediatric emergency physician if a child suffers an acute illness or injuries. Doctors in these fields are more qualified than pediatricians to handle emergency situations.
A well-visit is a routine visit with a pediatrician to track a child's development, discuss medical or emotional concerns, and receive immunizations and medical advice.
Yes, pediatricians provide immunizations for infants and children up through 21 years.
No, pediatricians do not have to be board certified. They're only required to have a state license. However, certification indicates a dedication to studying pediatrics beyond the requirements.
