DO NOT DO BIZ WITH CADDILLACSONLY!!I ordered parts 3 weeks ago with John. They charged my credit card immediately. I never received the parts. After a week I called and spoke to Rob. He is rude and very unprofessional. He told me my parts will ship next week, they were waiting on a part. No one ever told me they didn't have the part in stock. After 2 weeks, Rob said they are still waiting and if I want to cancel I can, there are 10 other people waiting for the part. I told him I still needed it. He said I would get it this week. Still no part and that me calling everyday will not make the part come any faster. I would think twice before doing business with this company. I would give them 0 stars, but I have to choose at least 1.

Word to the wiseA Warning about Cadillacsonly.comI called and placed an order in January 2014 for a body mount for my 1968 Deville. On the 16 of January 2014 They charged my credit card. No Part sent. E-mail on Jan 27th "Jerry" stated "Rob" said it will be shipped out today .Feb 20th No Part. So I e-mailed them again, they asked for my address AGAIN. Sent info waited days for e-mail response NONESo I called and I was asked for address AGAIN and was told Call back tomorrow I will have an answer. Next day was told "oh here it is we forgot to ship, will go out today" Now it is a new month, it's March 18 still NO part, called again. Asked Rob where is my part, give me a tracking number, he said "oh I know what happened, can I call you right back with the number "Now it is 19 March, No call back. 20 March, Now finally after weeks of being given the run a round, calls not returned, and honest reviews posted on all the web sites I could find they have overnighted the wrong part.I would think twice about doing business with this crew.
Tips & Advices
Some dealers accept returns if the component is returned with the original invoice. Some dealers might charge a re-stocking fee for returns. Others may not accept returns at all. It's common for dealers to not accept returns on electrical parts. Customers should ask about return policies before purchasing.
A salvage yard might test used car parts before selling them, but customers should ask whether tests have been performed on the part or not. All parts, especially electrical components, should be tested prior to purchase. Most salvage yards and auto repair shops should have a 12-volt battery to test electrical parts.
Sometimes it is worth buying used car parts. If the part is in good condition, a car owner could save money by buying the used part. However, if the part is something that's unsafe to purchase used, like brake parts or air bags, or if the part is too deteriorated to be safe, it's worth the cost to buy new.
Junkyards are businesses where people can shop for used car parts. Other names for these businesses include salvage yards and automotive recyclers. Auto repair shops might also sell used car parts.
Yes, most used car part dealers sell to the general public. However, just like with any car parts purchase, buyers should look into the dealer’s warranty policy and might want to price shop at several places.
