Stringer Appliance Repair
I have used this local owned business for years. Just a plain honest and good business man. My 70 yr old mother, had appliances just breaking down, one each year. When some electricians were at the house and all of a sudden her stove didn't work, he told us a couple things to try and if they didn't work he would come over in the morning (this was after hours). Of course his suggestion worked. No cost..... 6 months later her dryer was making an awful racket. She called and was told he simply couldn't work on the machine, because the company wouldn't supply the parts. He was 100% right. ( we called around). Result new dryer. Most recently, refrigerator had been leaking. Mom couldn't remember the name and called other repair companies but 3 of them couldn't make it out until Wednesday. She then called me and asked the name of the company. She called Monday morning and he was there by 10. Amazing nice, honest, good and definitely reasonably priced

Dixon Gets a complete thumbs up! Our Samsung freezer was no more functioning, so we gave him a call to schedule a trip. He might have gone ahead and scheduled the trip, come and billed us to the consultation. BUT rather, he guided us to only try this 1 action that he felt could solve this, and low and behold it did! It's truly reassuring to know that there are still people around who run a fair business, and therefore are only just prepared to help people out, rather than earning some dollars. THANK YOU , and as a result of your honesty, we'll make certain to utilize your company from now on for any future problems, AND we'll advise you to our loved ones members and friends!

Came, examined, ordered, repaired and conquered all within 24 hours. My refrigerator stopped working, but the freezer component did function. Strange, but I guess shared, part arrived next day and repaired. Highly recommended, but I hope I do not have to work with again, lol.

Tips & Advices
If the washing machine is overloaded or all the clothes are packed to one side, the imbalance can cause the washing machine to jerk and shake. These vibrations can be violent enough to slam the machine against other objects, possibly causing damage to its exterior.
Refrigerator coils should be cleaned at least twice a year. Households with pets should clean their refrigerator coils more frequently.
To reduce the risk of foodborne illnesses, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration recommends homeowners set their refrigerators at or below 40 degrees Fahrenheit and their freezers at 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
In terms of operations and upkeep, gas dryers are less expensive than electric. The actual savings depends on the cost of gas vs. electricity in the area. Still, gas dryers heat up faster than electric ones do, making them slightly more energy efficient. However, gas dryers are priced higher than electric ones, so homeowners should prepare to pay more at the outset.
Proper maintenance helps most home appliances last longer. Homeowner's should check their user's manuals for insight on how often to inspect, clean or upgrade their appliances.
