Venice Village Dental
I was in for some major dental work, capping all my front teeth that were crooked and discolored, some even chipped.Yesterday was a big day for me to get all my upper front teeth prepped. It was a very long visit but I never felt any pain and the dentist was very gentle and did an amazing job on my teeth. He's a perfectionist and that's what you want. The staff is super nice and friendly as well, and they make you feel at ease. Right now I am wearing my temporary crowns and it already looks awesome! I am surprised he doesn't advertise himself as a cosmetic dentist because he is, as well as a regular dentist. I have been going to him (Tim Riesz) for many years now and I would never go anywhere else. The staff and dentist fully explain all the procedures beforehand so you know what to expect. This afternoon I have to go back to get my bottom front teeth prepped and I know I won't need to feel scared, despite all the work that needs to be done.I love this dentist and all of his staff! Brian at the front desk is especially nice and fun to interact with. I highly recommend this dental facility to anyone looking for a dentist in Venice or anyone who is tired of having ugly teeth. This dentist is the best in Venice.

Davis & Beyer DDS PA
I recently needed to find a dentist/prosthodontist in the Venice area, and several people had recommended Davis & Beyer. I'm glad I made the switch! The staff and Dr. Davis are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and you will be treated with kid gloves and state of the art equipment. You'll be glad you made the change. I know I am.

Aspen Dental
Aspen's office phoned me, turns out the whole problem is with my Insurance Company. Delta Insurance took it upon them selves to transfer me to another Doctor an hour from me, without me knowing. I have started a lot of dental work with Aspen and have been happy with what has been done so far.

Venice Village Dental
Awesome! After being told that an extraction at Venetian Dental would cost over $700 with insurance, Venice Village did it for $160 the same day! Xrays, Extraction and Follow up! They were helpful and upfront about their prices! Will definitely be back!

I knew I'd found my dentist after my first appointment. I recently got some dental implants from Dr. Overbeck and everything went so well. The staff cared for me professionally and were very thorough.

Dr Michael Wolpmann
I had a serious medical condition and Dr Wolpmann was great. He has a great bedside manner and when it comes to medicine he is the best. He is honest and doesn't fill you with false hope.

Very professional. I know the dentist trade and this office has it right on all accounts. The hygentists are the most through and gentle I've found.
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
