East Vancouver Automotive
The work and customer service is excellent always. I have used them for many years. We have 2 older cars...1996 and 2003. They have always been honest and tell us when repairs can wait. Kudos to Jesse and Raymond!! They will keep our cars on the road for many more years.

Main Auto Repair
Total nightmare. Ended up charging me $100 and not fixing anything and finally crossed his fingers and told me to hope it's fine and didn't even recover my coolant panel. I just took my scooter to where I had always gone previously (vespa portland) and they told me he overfilled my coolant tank as well and were able to fix the actual problem right away. Clearly they didn't know anything about my bike, couldn't figure out the computer, kept telling me it'd be done by a certain day then asking for more time every time saying he was alone today (over the course of a few weeks). If you're looking for somewhere that knows what they're doing and provides quality workmanship I'd definitely avoid this place and go to Vespa Portland.

Mind blowingly unprofessional. Matt the business owner whines and complains on local Facebook pages. He throws his admin under the bus after potential customers bring short comings made from his personal Facebook to his attention.

Lupe's Auto Repair
Lupe is by FAR the best mechanic I have met in Vancouver. His prices are the BEST. He has NEVER told me to replace something that isn't broken. He will SHOW me why something has to be replaced. I will ALWAYS go to Lupe for help!

Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting
After initially getting my new, unpainted bumper painted to match my car, it was the wrong color and didnt match. It took plenty of arguing to finally get them to repaint it to match. It looked a lot better the second time but still isnt a perfect match but i just took it as a loss. Flash forward to now, 6 months later, and the paint is peeling off and they wont do anything about it. This people show poor professionalism and shotty business practices. Dont go here.

Lupes Auto Clinic
BEWARE, he is a liar and a cheat. He said he did a full tune up and replaced my valve cover gasket. I took my car back four times and each time he said it was normal and fine. My motor is now blown in my car. Upon taking my car to a real mechanic I found out he did nothing but change my spark plugs. He charged me $365 to change my spark plugs.

ARIA AUTO SALES
After driving around all day dealing with one sleazy dealership after another, I came across Aria Auto Sales, and I'm glad I did. It was the most easy going, friendly car buying experience I have had. The cars were mostly low miles, all had car faxes, and I bought mine well below blue book. I definitely will be recommending this place to all my friends and family. Thanks Payman, Paul, and Joe. You guys rock!

Chuck Ansted was A+ in my view. He was professional and always greeted me, whether on the phone or in person, with a positive attitude. The work they did on our car was perfect. I would definitely return if there was a need (heaven forbid I get in an accident!).
Tips & Advices
Using a variety of tools and processes, many of which require specialized training, auto body mechanics primarily repair cosmetic and structural damage to vehicles after accidents occur. They can also enhance a vehicle’s appearance and performance by replacing and adding new parts to a vehicle’s body.
This depends on the severity of the work that needs to be done. Something such as paintless dent repair for a few small dents can take an hour. Whereas auto body repairs for damages caused by a major accident can take multiple days to correct.
All auto body parts can be repaired but there is a threshold for the level of repairs possible. Parts can be damaged beyond repair and would need to be wholly replaced.
Auto body parts can be made from a wide variety of materials, usually based on what the part’s purpose is. Vehicle frames body panels, bumpers, roof racks, and other items that need to be strong and durable are usually constructed from steel, which is known for its durability and resistance to rust and high temperatures. But aluminum is quickly becoming a popular material of construction due to its lightweight yet durable nature. Body kits and other aftermarket parts like spoilers and hoods can be constructed from one form of plastic or another.
Yes, the vast majority of car makes and models have aftermarket parts available for many of their components. But higher-end vehicles typically have less aftermarket parts available since they often use specialized materials and manufacturing processes that are difficult to duplicate for many aftermarket manufacturers.
