YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

OHS helped us so much. We have 3 special needs shelter dogs and the trainers at OHS have changed our lives. We learned so much about how to train our dogs and all the things we were doing to make the problems worse. They have classes for everything and I take as many as I can! Definitely check out their classes at their website under 'pet training' > 'dog training classes'. Reasonably priced and great facility too!

Last year I lost my beloved Cat Simon.\r A month had passed and I realized that my cat Lucy was grieving as well. I went to The Pixi Project because I drove by it every day and loved to see all the kitties in the window and I wanted to know more about them. \r After meeting Hannah, I knew this was the place. Her compassion for the job she was doing was evident and I just knew I wanted to adopt from there. After many visits, Miss Hannah told me there was a kitty she wanted me to meet, saying she thought we would be a great match and with that she introduced me to a little fat, 6 month old, one eared, cross eyed, grey tabby named ""Catfish Steve"" and from the moment I saw him I knew that Lucy and I would be his forever family. \r It has been almost 9 months since I adopted him and I love him more every day. Hats off to Hannah, Ted and the rest of the folks at The Pixi Project. You are all doing such a wonderful service helping these amazing little creatures find loving homes. Your love of the work is evident and I recommend adoption from The Pixi Project to anyone who wants to add a dog or cat into their family. Thank you so much Hannah for knowing instinctively, that little catfish was the perfect fit and he truely is. \r Most Sincerely, \r Elizabeth Deal

They get one star, all though they don't even deserve that. They are dis-organized unprofessional. They don't know anything about the dogs except whats on their sheet. I applied for this husky named Sollie, I specifically asked if any one else had applied they told me no. i was approved to adopt then , i get told that one of their volunteers was going to adopt him so even though I applied first that doesn't matter. They refused to let me adopt this black lab named rocky cause in exact words "preferably to a home with a fence". although they were going to let me adopt another dog even though it said "needed a fence". There list is horribly out of date of whats available. one of there employees is an older lady named Joyce, dumb as a box of rocks, knows completely nothing, as well as ignored me when i was trying to ask questions about a particular dog.

consider the fact that so many shelters kill over 87% of the animals that come into their shelter. yes this shelter is not a no kill, but this should give most people more of an incentive to come and adopt and give an innocent animal a second chance. the animals that pass the week of holding are not killed and wait patiently and often a long time to be adopted. they are not bias and save pitties too. i got my pit mix there and he is the best thing that EVER happened to me. of course all dogs are a crazy insane responsibility but it is so worth it to know you saved a beautiful creatures life. i will get my second dog there in due time.

Enzo's Acres began as a dream, as many great things do. Enzo was our boy, who after we lost him we wanted to mark his memory with something he would be proud of. And 3 years later here we are. We have rescued and successfully rehomed over 200 dogs, who would have otherwise been euthanized. We put 110% into every adoption, looking for the "right" family for every Enzo's Dog. We offer all our adopters follow up help with training and any problems they may have when they bring their dog home. Enzo's hosts: small training classes for basic obedience and advanced obedience, Day-Camp for dogs (a step up from your average doggy day care), Overnight Boarding Camp for dogs. We also help owners transport their dogs to appointments, to vacation destinations and when they move. All our new services help us maintain the rescue. We rely on donations and adoption fees to pay for the dogs we pull into the rescue, but in reality every dog costs us more money than we have. Please check out or Training page for our training packages. And our Service page for all our new updated services. We also offer group training to other rescues and fosters who may be struggling with their dogs. Thank you all for your unending support! Please spread the word that we have expanded and think of us the next time you need help with your dog.

i had a great experience adopting my little boy kitten here a few days ago. the environment was very clean and healthy for the cats, and all of the cats seemed not only healthy, but happy. they have a TON of cats so i ended up spending a good 3 hours there trying to decide which one i should take. it was the hardest decision, they are all so cute and loving! the staff was really patient and helped me pick out the perfect kitten ( i had to be picky because the kitten would have to work well with my current cat at home) andn answered all of the questions i have. i have adopted from the oregon humane society before and i actually like how the cat adoption team is set up better, its less like they are trying to get you to take home this specific cat right now, and more like take your time, make sure its a great match and if you dont find one today, come back another time! it was a great experience for me and i love the little guy i adopted. the only thing i would say was negative is that it is very hectic there in the upstairs area and they tend to nickle and dime you more so here than at other shelters (ex you have to pay for the carboard kitty carrier you take them home in where as at the humane society they give you them for free, you have to buy the collar and tags where as the humane society gives you them for free) but they do give you a bag of litter when you adopt and some kitten food to take hom for free so thats a plus.\r \r overall, highly recommended
