don't call them when your desperate......they mislead you and try to take advantage. I called them with a broken a/c unit, 95 degree temp, and an angry wife. They gave me 2 scenarios because I had a leak......use $1000 worth of Freon and hope the leak in the unit lasts the remainder of the summer (their quick fix), or replace the unit for about $7500. The repair man was arrogant and dismissive. Out of desperation, I chose the $1000 Freon job. A few weeks later I called American Cool Air. They checked out the system and found the leak to be in the outside coil. They checked and found my system still under warranty, so they ordered a new coil and installed it for a few hundred dollars. My house is cold, and my wife is smiling. I am also since I saved $7000. The PIPE DOCTOR specializes in MAL PRACTICE, but they do write great bogus reviews.

After all the help from Pipe Doctor, I felt compelled to write a review for them to express how my family and most of the neighbors on my block feel. On Tuesday after the Hurricane, I called Mike at Pipe Doctor and he told me that as soon as he could get out of his flooded neighborhood that I would be first on the list. Sure enough at 3:30pm that day, Mike arrived with 3 other techs. They started pumping out my basement. WIthin minutes all my neighbors came out to also have Pipe Doctor come help them too. They were more than glad to offer any help. I swear, Mike, Leon, John and Craig stayed on my block until Thursday morning - non-stop. They slept in their trucks taking turns filling up the gas powered pumps. That is dedication. Today is Saturday 11/24/12 at 6:50am. As of right now, all the homes on my block now have heat and hot water - and only because of The Pipe Doctor.
