Earl's Texas BBQ
I've been frequenting URLs since he was on Springs Road. His barbecue meat is authentic Texas stuff, seasoned perfectly with a dry rub and smoked. For y'all what don't know, BBQ is smoked, not grilled and covered in sauce. that may have its place on the dinner table, but barbecue is an art, and Earl is a good artist. The place is homey, small, with blues pics all over the wall, and comfort food in the way of side dishes.

Not satisfied, paid for breakfast for pick up, eggs, hot links and biscuit, nearly $14.00. Had gave me half of a hotlink, looks like one egg, small scoop of country potato and a rock hard biscuit. Will not eat here again.

C J's Barbecue and Fish and CTRNG
I was influenced by the positive reviews online to try this place. I went there Friday, October 4, 2013, there was only one other customer in the restaurant when I arrived at 6:30 PM, dinner time, that should've given me a clue. Undeterred, I ordered a fish combo, red snapper and catfish, cost $24. I thought it was pretty pricey for a take-out, but okay if the food was good. I also ordered a six piece fried chicken meal. First, the fish: the pieces were tiny and fried to the point of total dehydration. The catfish had a rancid smell and tasted like it was spoiled, threw it out. The snapper was dry and tough as leather as though it had been aged like a prime cut of beef, threw it out. The six piece chicken order consisted of three wings with the drumette part of the wing separated from the remaining part. This constituted a six piece order, three wings, cut in half! To add insult to injury, it was so overcooked, it was hard, dry and totally inedible, threw it out. I didn't even try the side orders as they didn't look particularly appetizing. Assuming the best when I got my order, I left a $5 tip. I now know why the cashier looked so surprised when I handed it to her! This food cost me $35, $35 more than it should have.I will NEVER go back to this place. It was the worst takeout food I have ever experienced, hands down. If I could rate this place zero stars, I would. You have to put forth some effort to make food this bad, it was awful.

This place couldn't cook a steak if their life depended on it. I asked for med rare I got extra well done, I sent it bak my new one came back after 30 minutes rare and cold with gristle in the middle. My server was great the manager was lacking!!!

Just a moment...
