Georgia Auto Exchange
If I could give it no stars I would!!! Please do not buy from this unethical and unpr ofessional business. They make their own reviews online and put different people to give you different information David explained a loan of 28% which is 84 dollars a month, and a 899.00 doc fee that Bo said was a “loan fee” interest is to accrue daily so sooner I pay it, the less I pay in pay off. Now they are sending me receipts with a balance that includes interest that is not accrued yet and I’m making payments weeks before they are due. I only agreed bc he promised a 1000.00 off the payoff and I had him write it in writing. Con men who forged a date on a contract and charged my card 5 days before paperwork was signed then refused me a refund when I didn’t agree to the paperwork. Now that I am disputing the receipts with the BBB Bo asked me to come park the car he’s repoing it! You can repo a car that is not past due? Con men!!! Stay away he thinks he makes the law and can intimidate you bc I am a woman. Wrong I will sue you first.

My cars' serpentine belt broke while I was in GA-I live in Jacksonville FL. Ryan came out in the time stated and went above and beyond towing my car. He fixed my car thus saving me a few hundred dollars. He was so kind and knowledgeable and respectful to me and my daughter.. I highly recommend A-1 Towing! Ryan deserves a HUGE raise!

Walker's Auto Repair
I drove in from out of town and noticed that my car was making a tapping sound. We googled an auto repair shop in Valdosta and chose Walkers Auto Repair thanks to all of the good reviews. They absolutely lived up to their reputation. Ms. Judy fit us in first thing in the morning. The mechanic was friendly and solved my problem right away. It's nice to actually be provided with trustworthy service nowadays. I highly recommend!

Walker's Auto Repair
My truck wouldn't turn over when I tried to crank it. I just put a new battery in and it didn't sound like the starter. When she had her Tech look at she thought it would take them two days to fix it. I told her that I need to get back home, 2.5 hours away, before tomorrow. She kept the opened an extra hour after they were suppose to close. Once I got there to pick it up Mrs Judy walked me through the receipt and the Tech showed me exactly what he did. I felt the price was fair and the service was great. Thank you Mrs. Judy for getting me home.

Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
